Hello all! I'm new to this site and am just beginning to study astrology. I'd appreciate any feed back or input on the following issue. Need some insight. I am extremely attracted to/fascinated by/compulsively drawn to this guy. From an astrological standpoint I can't see why......am I missing something?

We were born a few years apart so Neptune/sag, Uranus and pluto/libra, Chiron/ Aries for us both

I'd be happy to provide any other info needed. Based on my fledgling understanding of astrology I can't find a reason this guy has such an effect on me. It takes every ounce of my mars in scorpion 'will' not to stalk him j/k (but not really)

I wish I'd discovered this Cancerian/Capricorn thing before. I always dismissed them because my sister's husband was one and I couldn't stand him OR her but now that I've gotten closer to one I can attest there is DEFINITELY a major attraction.

Hi stillatlarge . yes, Cappy's and Cancer seem to have a nice chemistry. I overlooked them for years as well because of a bad experience. Good luck with your Cancerian

I don't go for Cancers anymore myself. It's that whole thing of doing the same thing and expecting different results. I've noticed it doesn't work for me, so I've moved on. Can't say that I'd rule them out altogether, but I know the likelihood of it working now.

I'm astounded to meet someone with a chart that's nearly exactly the same as mine! We should compare notes!

absolutely. that's fascinating how closely our charts resemble one another.

do you find that you have a lot of sag traits? it seems like i do and quite a bit of scorpio as well being that it's the strongest placement mars in scorpio. but gemini rising really does rule my 'face to the world'

Yes, to the Sag traits. My Sagittarian girlfriend calls me "jolly." (She's got Capricorn rising, so I do appear more "jolly" than her.)

Our Mars in Scorpio is a water and a fixed singleton, but beyond that our Suns are in the Scorpio-ruled 8th house. Scorpio is definitely a strong player in our charts.

Gemini Rising, before I knew what it was, seemed like such a contradiction in my life... like the Capricorn and Gemini energies are a bit at odds with one another. Finding astrology, and finding out about Gemini rising kind of took care of those contradictions. Now my Capricorn tendencies can relax a bit, and let Gemini do it's thing. They get along better now.

how funny my next question to you was do you find yourself attracted to sag's? i guess so! me too, all of my serious relationships have been with sag sun. they are my preference.

astrology has helped me a great deal as well. to deal with my own personality in addition to other people. you seem to have a good deal more experience and understanding of astrology. i'm very new to the more in depth study and it's overwhelming there is soooo much info.

I was a little uncertain about Sags when I first got into astrology. I think I thought they were maybe a bit superficial or something. Getting to know Sags here gave me some major glipses into the Sag soul. They are quite a bit more complex than they may initially seem.

To my knowledge, my current girlfriend is the first Sag I've ever been with. It's been really good. I've mostly been with Cancers, and I feel like being with a Sag has opened my eyes. They're so much less maintenance, and a lot easier to relate with for me. They're sensitive, but in a completely different way from Cancers (there's quite a bit less likelihood of me offending Sags).
