When you calculate your natal chart, there are big differences using tropical and sidereal astrology. I personally identify myself more in the tropical chart, but the fact is that for logical reasons the correct one should be the sidereal.

What do you, astrologers, think about that? Which one is the right?
Some people say that you have to look at the two charts, because they're both right... but I think that this adds even more ambiguity to the interpretation (that for itself it's quite ambiguous)

This has totally confused me! Before today I didn't know there were two types of astrology. I really don't think I'm a triple gemini. I'm definitely cancer. I don't get this. I think just about everyone uses tropical astrology, don't they? Can someone give us some insight?

hello everyone i believe sidreal is technically correct. it tells you the exact position of the planets at the time of your birth so seems more accurate to me. however, i identify much more to my tropical chart. my hubby is a sag in tropical but scorpio in sidreal-ask anyone he's a sag for sure.

i'd be curious to know why this is considering his sun was physically in scorpio at the time of his birth. any insight?

Even the Sidereal Zodiac isn't completely aligned with the constellations

1. There are 13 constellations on the ecliptic aka the zodiac...Ophiuchus is located between Scorpio and Sagittarius.
2. The constellations aren't an equal 30 degree s. Virgo is the largest of them all and Scorpius is the smallest of them all.

Libra was also part of Scorpius. Libra was once the Scorpion's Claws.

I have Sun in Libra in Sidereal Zodiac, but my Sun is in the constellation of Virgo.
I have Jupiter in Scorpio in Sidereal Zodiac, but my Jupiter and Neptune are in the constellation of Ophiuchus.

I can relate to my tropical zodiac(season-based)sign chart.

I am not sure if people born in Southern Hemisphere can because tropical zodiac is based on the northern hemisphere seasons.
