Not British but thought that it was fascinating how specific areas of England could be seen to be ruled by different planets (and the UK and Ireland itself). Hope this gets our English knowflakes talking: http://www.homeoint.org/morrell/astrology/uk.htm

Birmingham and West Midlands ruled by Aries with Scorpio elements................So don't mess Heavy metal as mentioned is still popular up here in the heathen Midlands, maybe not so much as in manufacture but as in the music. This is the region that spawned Ozzy Osbourne ~ I noticed he didn't get placed on the list, though most people would prefer him at a dinner party than Clare Short. I did a typo there and spelt Midlands as Mildlands. I once asked for a pint of Mild in a London pub, the barmaid looked at me like I had been beamed down from Jupiter. IP: Logged |

"For Wales, apart from the Gemini influence, there is also a strong Capricorn element and that is perhaps why it has such long, strong and generally harmonious ties with England as the dominant nation of the group".Generally harmonious ties???? Hmmm! Hahaha, or, more likely one twin was thinking "Let's kick the English out, they have totally destroyed our long and wondrous culture and language and they are making us eat jellied eels" and the other twin thought "Nah, can't be bothered. We'll just vent our passive aggression in the Six Nations Rugby - that'll do fine" And that is how the English got to stay! Ta da! God love 'em. IP: Logged |
