Hi all,This question is reverberating in my head for quite some time now. I know that geniuses like Dickens, Hardy, Tolstoy, King, McEwan and Pynchon are freaks of nature. But there must be something, an underlying commonality if you will, in their charts that makes them special. Let me refine the question a bit: What defines for a person to become a published writer (author) and make writing a successful career in the chart? The key word here is published, because there are millions of people who are great writers, but never see their work in print. Would be lovely to get some opinions on this. And if possible a take on my own chart too! Cheers RD IP: Logged |

You might want to search through the archives ~ this question has been asked at least once since I've been posting here (less than 6 months) and you might find the thread(s) interesting. What gets someone in print? It's not necessarily anything to do with artistic genius. Publishing houses are businesses, they want to make money on what will sell. So if you can churn out a credible copy of the Da Vinci Code, you might hit the jackpot. Check out the shelves of your local bookstore to see what I mean. What's Saturn doing on your chart? If he gets involved it will help with the hard work and dedication you will need to succeed in making your dreams reality. IP: Logged |
