I have Moon in Cancer, which I only recently discovered, and it explains A LOT.I would never cry in order to manipulate, in fact, like most of the other posters, I would rather die than let someone see me cry. The only times I've cried in front of other people (that I can recall) happen to have all been at work, but these were instances when I was so freakin' traumatized or embarrassed by what a superior said to me (criticizing my productivity level or work quality, a sore spot with me because I've always tried so hard) that I just couldn't hold it in. And one of them (former boss) remembers it to this day. Anyway, I'm sure your co-worker's tirades are not due only to the Moon in Cancer. IP: Logged |

I actually have this placement myself. Not knowing the lady in question, I'll speak from my own experiences. My Cancer Moon is square my Libra Sun/Mercury and opposite my Neptune and Mars. These harder aspects often make me feel "split" emotionally. I also notice that I can run the whole gamut of emotions--sometimes in one day--and that when I have emotions, they are very intense. On the good side, I feel that my Cancer moon is a good placement because being a water sign it is very sensitive and artistic, but on the negative side I am hurt easily emotionally and can be very pessimistic; I've also had depressive episodes. As for your lady with the Moon in Cancer, remember that she didn't choose her Moon position (or any other of her chart positions, for that matter) and try to be patient with her--I'm not saying that her chart excuses her behavior (it doesn't), but that trying to understand her even when you're aggravated or frustrated with her (which I think you are trying to do) will mean a lot to her. Given that her rising sign is Pisces, also a water sign, this would explain the crying and emotions: water signs tend to be emotional (and at times can go from hot to cold in seconds). Good luck with everything! IP: Logged |

My mom has Moon in Cancer and I know what you mean. She is a very loving person and all, but she resorts to drama instead of talking calmly often. I remember when me and my sister(me a Scorpio, she a Sag)were little I would go sit in a corner and wait for the doomsday to happen in a couple of seconds when my parents would quarrel- my dad would be really mean but my mom ! She is also an Aries and she would only listen to her instincts and wouldn't care about being rational, diplomatic or try to keep it down.. She is also gemini rising But my sister, well she just wouldn't be affected and keep on playing or doing whatever she was and I would give her a worried look but she'd say 'Oh it will pass in a couple of hours'. And it always would. My mom still gives dramatic reactions to everything, and I never managed to deal with it as my elder sister did. But the key point is, if you don't give her attention when she is on it, she will grow at least a little tired of this routine. Instead, offer her your help when she is really calm, or state that you will listen to her once she calms down and leave the room/building.. Or you can listen to music through your headphones if she is a family member. Hope this helped IP: Logged |

Moon in Cancer here. I rarely ever cry infront of people. I can't stand it. I try at almost all costs to avoid that. I hate crying. I see it as a weakness. But that could be my Aries sun that feels that. With crying. I just don't do it infront of other people. If I do. Then it is only people I deeply trust and tell almost all my secrets too.------------------ "They'll get you anything with that EVIL smile..." IP: Logged |

I've got Sun/Moon/Mars in Cancer and i never resort to drama in order to manipulate someone. I just take everything seriously and have crazy mood swings. IP: Logged |
