Mine is in Capricorn in my 7th. Is that the norm or could it fall in another house? I just don't know how I've missed out on this Capricorn thing all my life IP: Logged |

The Descendant IS the 7th house cusp, so it can't be anywhere else. The 1st house is the Ascendant or AC or ASC The 4th house is the Imum Coelum or IC The 7th house is the Descendant or DC or DSC The 10th house is the Midheaven or MC IP: Logged |

Wellllll...that [your like of Capricorns] makes sense now.The answer to your question [Is the descendant always in the 7th?] is Yes. The Descendant is always opposite the Ascendant. The Ascendant is always the start of your 1st house. The Descendant is always the start of your 7th house. IP: Logged |

Because your descendant is in Capricorn doesn't mean you will marry a capricorn. Saturn is the ruler of Capricorn. You might marry someone older, or serious, or someone who is a business man or something of that nature. You also need to take into consideration if there are planets in your 7th house because they will also give indications of what type of marital partner you might end up with. IP: Logged |

Thanks to everyone for answering my question. I feel a lot of compatibility with this one. Even if I don't end up with this one I am going to start to keep an eye out for them. I never thought I'd like them because of my sister's husband. This one has a lot of pluto and uranus like I do, mars in aqua and venus in sag. He's not so stodgy. The only thing I know I have is Moon in Aqua in the 7th. So it should be an Aqua?IP: Logged |

" The only thing I know I have is Moon in Aqua in the 7th. So it should be an Aqua?"Astrology will not tell you that a particular sign is going to be your husband. That's not the way it works. People wants certainty and astrology is not about that. Moon in the 7th means that your partner might be moody because the moon tends to be moody. Wherever the moon is, there tends to be fluctuations and ups and downs situations, so you might experience this in your marriage as well. Of course, when the moon is in a very stable sign like Taurus, those fluctuations are minimal. So you see, astrological interpretations are not so clear cut. IP: Logged |

Stick with what Belage has said. Capricorn on the Descendant indicates you wanting someone, not necessarily a Capricorn, who appears to show the traits associated with Capricorn. Could be older. Probably a grounded, calm personality. Could be successful in his career or a workaholic. Since Aqua is also in your 7th, those characteristics may also show up. You're still looking for a rather successful person who may be a bit more gregarious than a Capricorn.By Sun sign you should get along with an Aquarius a bit better. Of course having your Moon in Aquarius also suggests that Aquarius would be a better match. IP: Logged |
