Hi Wild Sheep,

I don't have kids, but I can tell ya something freaky.

My sis and bro in law have something VERY...well...downright scary.

My b in law has the asteroid of my neice's name (their first child) at 11 degrees LEO and the asteroid Karma at 17 degrees LEO.

This is in an exact opposition to my sister's asteroid of their Karma at 11 degrees AQUA and her daughter's name at 20 degrees AQUA.

Their destiny to have her, I'd say!

Yowza. Sounds like the kinds of freaky-ass things I've been seeing in my chart and the charts of others re: kids' names. The asteroid with my name is conjunct my own natal Sun and sits in my mother's 5th house natally. An asteroid with my sister's name is in my 3rd house of siblings.

My name asteroid in my mother's chart falls on my NN exactly to the degree (both 18 deg Sco)). In her chart, my name asteroid opposes her uranus (I'm aqu), sextiles her mars/jup conjunction. I am aries AC with Jup conj ac in 1st. Her psyche falls exactly on my moon (both 20 deg lib).

My father's chart has my name asteroid fall directly on my saturn to the degree (both 29 deg Cancer). However my asteroid name trines his uranus and squares his moon (we moon conj moon, both in lib) and widely conj his sun/NN (out of sign though, both sun/NN 4 deg leo)

Oddly enough, I've always gotten on better with my dad than mum (see my name asteroid and aspects to ura), it proves that I was daddy's girl.

OMG...You got me looking, WS, and I can't tell you how many of my family members have my name asteroid conjunct the infamous degree of Gemini that my moon, my Mom's sun, my brother's sun, my nephew's asteroid of his name, etc, etc. are in! I have to write all of this down tomorrow.

I also found this names thing quite incredible! In my son's natal chart, my name asteroid, Teresa, and his name asteroid are conjunct in his first house and both fall on my husband's north node! Also, my husband's name asteroid in my chart and in my son's chart are conjunct (my husband's name asteroid is also exactly conjunct my natal Moon). My son's name asteroid in my chart is also conjunct my son's Sun, although a bit widely (5 degrees), in my seventh house. Also, in my husband's chart, asteroid Teresa is conjunct our son's Sun.
I have amazing connections with my parents as well. The asteroid Teresa in my natal chart sits exactly on my mom's Sun. Her ascendant falls there too, so it is also conjunct her ascendant. My father's asteroid name in his natal chart also falls on my mom's Sun, thus is conjunct my asteroid name as well. My father's asteroid name was also exactly conjunct my Sun the day I was born!

Hope that's not too confusing...

Edit: I just looked at my synastry with my grandma (whom I love to pieces!) and, incredibly enough, her natal asteroid Teresa is conjunct her ascendant exactly, and both fall on my north node exactly! In my natal chart, my grandma's asteroid name falls exactly on my ascendant! Scary!

I also know of people who's name asteroid is in their first house or conjunct ascendant.

Yess!!

My EXACT name is not in the Asteroid list.. however I found one pretty similar, checked my mother's chart and it's exactly conjunct her venus!!

I don't have children, yet; but I have 2 names for a boy and a girl. And to my surprise the girl's name I checked it in my chart, and it's exactly conjunct my sun
