Anti-social or socially sensitive. The square aspect creates energy which I've seen in charts transferred as tension or excess... square represnets energies that need to be brought together... so it can make one socially awkward, not necessarily shy but offbeat or odd, or it can make someone extremely sensual and/or emotional, cry at the slightest thing.IP: Logged |

Thanks for your reply Can you tell me how they would be in relationships? I read somewhere that they can be commitment phobes or that they shy away from intimacy.IP: Logged |

oops didn't read the signs.... Venus in Scorpio Moon in Aquarius, there is a nice interchange here , the Moon (water influence) in an air sign and Venus (air influence) in a Water sign. This should make the square more subtle I'd say... moon in Aquarius people (like me) are detached aloof from their emotions generally maintaining a logical attitude about feelings (although this can be erratic in Aquarius) Venus in Scorpio is powerfully emotional and sensual and intimate, combining these two can create conflict. Your needs and desires are not in sync and you can talk yourself out of wanting things because it's not practical to your needs... Therefore it can make you attract a person who is not always what you need to feel secure. Or find yourself with friends who don't fully understand you. A balance established between your needs and wants, allowing both to be met will fuse these two together. Your Aquarian NEED for freedom must also allow for your Scorpion sensuality and desire for intimacy....

Are you talking about a man? Because in that case it could show a marked difference between the kind of woman he likes sexually (Venus) and the kind he'd be willing to settle down with (Moon).IP: Logged |

Well, according to Zane Stein, the Moon in a man's chart shows the emotional and psychological nature of the woman he is looking for, and a man's Venus shows what he likes in a woman physically and how he likes her to show affection. Venus also shows what a man likes to attract. The fact that the two planets are in square shows there is a dissimilarity between what he likes sexually and what he likes emotionally. Now that doesn't mean he can't find a woman who satisfies both parts of him, but that within himself he might have a tendency to follow that pattern which has become normal to him – to make a big distinction between settle-down-with women and go-to-bed with women. His Venus in Scorpio could mean he likes femme fatale types, and may enjoy illicit or power-based relationships. However, when it comes to love, he may prefer a friend or an intellectual type. Of course, having Moon in Aquarius he may prefer not to settle-down at all, or might tend to have crushes on unavailable women or ones he has platonic relationships with. Look to his 7th house ruler and any planets in the 7th to give more details on his ideal partner, and how he likes serious relationships to be.

The Moon and Venus will give you hints as to what he would like in a woman but the interations in his natal chart also give a clue as to how he communicates and what drives him, his life path etc. All of which contribute to what he wants in a life partner. Ideally the Moon and Venus should be aspected by planets from the other's chart as in synastry.IP: Logged |

Wow that's me only I'm not a man!Quinnie is right on the mark, it's pretty much the only thing I am trying to change about myself, because personally, I find it really annoying, lol. Commitment? Easy, can do. Intimacy? Harder. Sometimes I don't even like to be touched by a friend or confide in them, but hey, if you gain the intimacy, you have it all IP: Logged |

I dont neccesarily agree with this. My moon is in libra and I dont ever see myself settling down with a libra. I dont really like any of the traits they stand for well maybe some.. but Im more attracted to stronger girls. The key things I want in a relationship are .understanding, loyalty, companionship, patience, affection, love. both the sweet and the sour. I have a good moon venus aspect but sadly the type of woman I need and the type of woman I want dont really come in one packageIP: Logged |
