I believe my friend has a yod in their chart with Uranus quicunx True Node & Ascendant and her true node is sextile her Ascendant.

Is it pointing to Mercury in Cancer? What does this mean?

Yes the apex is actually the sun mercury conjunction.. I dont exactly know the significance of this between the ascendant and the node. but there is plenty of info on Yods if you do a search or just look through this forum they have been talked about fairly recently.

I can hardly find anything on the Yod other than the description of what it is.
