I've never dated an Aries before. Although my closest sister is Aries, and a close girlfriend. But we're both on the same forum (not this one! ) and started writing back and forth. Okay, flirting back and forth! We have lots of wonderful trines between his moon and sun with my Sag moon and merc, but there's a mutual double whammy Venus/Sun square. Anyway, if you have any experiences with Aries men, share them with me! Thanks! IP: Logged |

I agree with blue moon, unless he has a lot of Pisces, which some Aries do. Then his Pisces influence could make him non-confrontational because he doesn't want to hurt anyone's feelings or look like the bad guy.Could you share the rest of his placements? I've never been involved romantically with an Aries Sun (Aries Venus galore though), but I have been friends with many. The worst trait is that they can be selfish and sometimes not even notice the needs of others. But they can also be very giving and chivalrous and so sweet. They're driven to be the best, and that includes being the person you adore the most. I love their initiative. I'm sure your adventurous side will appreciate that, too. I remember years ago I was hanging out with an Aries friend of mine in my bedroom and I mentioned how I wanted to paint one of my walls. The next time he came over, he brought paint in the color I wanted! He wanted to paint right then, but my parents wouldn't let me because we were only renting the house. But Aries sure like to get things done! I can be a huge procrastinator and think about something forever before acting on it...sometimes, I don't even want to act, I just want to think...but Aries is about doing. So that initiative of theirs can encourage much mischief and excitement. Hot thread title, btw. IP: Logged |

Aries are the best! they need to be treated as such. Dont boss him round, dont make him jealous, love him exclusively, let him chase you.i wish i was going on a date! Have a lovely time! IP: Logged |

Jane: He's VERY Aries! Sun conj. Saturn, moon, Venus in Aries. Sag Mars. Merc is Taurus. I'm not sure of his birthtime (just asked him and haven't heard back) but I'll post his chart when he does! He's been on that forum for years, and all his posts are well thought out, never juvenile (it's a road cycling forum, lots of testosterone in the men!) He's very taken with our writing, but in person?? Do Aries fall in love with the mind first? I know an Air sign could, maybe a Sag. But Aries? He is 10 years younger, but he's often dated older and said it's not an issue for him. I tend to believe him because of his Sun conj. Saturn. robyn - Great advice and insight! But since I tend to go after what I want, as a Fire enhanced Cappy, I'll have to work on the 'let him chase' part! Ummm, any tips? Winky, I hope he doesn't lose interest fast! In has marriage, it sounded like he was the one that wanted to work things out and be commited, and she was the one that couldn't fully commit to their marriage. Actually, from our writing, he doesn't sound as brash and 'young' as I thought Aries men were. Of course, he is flying out for a long weekend and we've only been writing back and forth with maybe a week...HA! My Sag/Aquarian influences doing the tango on my Cap Sun again...lol. IP: Logged |

as well as being the baby of the zodiac, Aries are also the pioneer...(think of our wonderful Linda) it doesnt suprise me that he kept working on his marraige, cos they like to succeed, and keep going when others have given up. i think capricorns are a bit like this too. both leadership signs. with your fire elements to back it up...you can have a good time at least. now wouldnt it be nice if he was a capricorn rising...IP: Logged |

Yikers! What different opinions of Aries men! I'm afraid I'm already smitten with him. 6 days and counting...Oh, and he doesn't know what time he was born! That would be GREAT if he had a Cappy asc.! IP: Logged |

Capnsag, I guess we Aries dont have a very good dating record. My Mercury and Venus are in Pisces but I can tell you that when I love, I love hard, deep and true. But my Aries is soften by my Piscean influence however there is still alot of fire in my chart. So I would say follow your heart, and give it a world. You will know whether or not he is worth it much faster than we will. Listen to your higher self, and hey at the very least you will not be bored, I can promise you that, lol,------------------ Aries Sun Moon Sag Scorpio Rising IP: Logged |

I dated an Aries man and the sex absolutely rocked! But it was all about him - he was fun, immature and it was great at the time; I wouldn't have missed it for the world. But now I'm at a stage in my life where I wouldn't have an Aries man - I want a bit of stability, not so much excitement IP: Logged |

I am def. Capricorn, but I'm an 'older' one, so not at all as serious as when I was younger! And I have a Sag moon, and Aqua Venus/asc that helps lighten things up.Good to hear about the sex, though!! Believe me, it's been on my mind - my searching for info about the Venus/Sun square synastry aspect, and a double whammy in our case, is said to increase the tension and attraction! I do get the Aries 'ME' outlook. I see that a lot with my sister and friend. At the same time, they're the most generous people too! It's rather odd, actually... BIG QUESTION: How do you pull off keeping their interest without playing games?? Especially when they demand honesty and being #1??

well the "let him chase u" is at odds with playing games so ............ i believe these people enjoy a fight just for the sake of it, mars is the god of war and energy and "war" are always present but they can take many ways: u might have great communication,etc...But i find they quite enjoy being insecure about wheter they have u or not, this aries guy i dated was forever turned "on" by the fact that i was telling him to f** off but then again he had been cheating and generally behaving quite appallingly... i think the best picture mirroring an aries is the toddler in the cot demanding attention and throwing the toys if he isnt paid enough att...so basically u want to squeeze and smother the child but sometimes u get fed up, etc... this is basically what happens in a rship with an aries...unless u are detached urself u will find it a bit tiring but never dull..........it was ultimately exhausting for me i must say... also this chap had gemini moon and this really make him fickle (no offense to anybody around here) but his moon might change him a lot..................... I'm a triple capricorn (sun, mercury, venus) and my ex was a triple aries (sun, moon, venus). As long as we were friends it was fine, but as soon as we got into a relationship things went wrong. Very competitive, almost like sibling rivalry. We had a completely different sense of humor (I prefer the super dry, sarcastic type, he's all slapstick) might sound strange but this was a fundamental problem because being able to laugh together is very important for me in a relationship. I agree with some of the comments that have already mentioned that he has to do the chasing. I agree completely. I can only speak from my experience and dont want to generalize, but I think my ex was so fiercely competitive, he wanted to chase and conquer, be number one in everything he does - be it in the professional world or the world of romance. In my experience it was also true that as long as he cant be completely sure of you he'll be super attentive, treat you like a goddess. If you start running after him, the dynamics change. For me this relationship didnt work at all, friction is good, but this was way too much friction, more like war of the roses. But as always, it depends on your synastry chart.IP: Logged |

I'm so sorry Galactic I gave up with Aries men a while back... and moved onto Leo men LOL awwwww it's much better frolicking with KING Pussycat than Larry the Lamb!!! Aries is a pauper compared with Leo. After all, the Ram (what a joke!) only has a field whereas the Lion owns the entire Kingdom, AND it will always be sunny weather so he can sleep all day!
