What are some aspects that point to someone being intimidating? I'm aware that I'm driving people out of their territories.

^ haha, exactly. Pluto is conjunct my Ascendant, and I definately can be intimidating and 'scary' to people. Even men who are much older than me have admitted to being 'scared' of me lol!IP: Logged |

how many degrees orb would manifest this between Pluto and AC, do you think? Or how many degrees are permissible for an effect to occur, say the conjunction is out of sign?IP: Logged |

In my opinion... Earth signs, such as Capricorn and Virgo would give off a very “focused” and career-oriented type of intimidating feel.Fire signs such Aries or Leo…would give off a “hot shot” high end fashion “popular” kind of intimidation Scorpios would make you feel like your psyche was penetrated by this illuminating force.

Thing is I ask because my pluto in 12th is give or take 10 degrees from My Scorpio Asc.I have been told that I can be intimidating, so I have been trying to be less. Personally, I don't know what they are talking about, but a lot of people say it so... IP: Logged |

Define scary?...The intimdataing person, are they scary for what they are revealing or what they are not revealing.... Or perhaps both. I am quite intimidating it seems (sun conjunct Pluto in 1st) an I don't understand why lol I have come to the conclusion it's because I am not afraid of others and ready to accept a challenge. Sometimes people are intimidated by power good looks assertiveness big personality strong physicality etc. These would show up differntly on a chart would they not? Is confidence an intimidating thing? IP: Logged |

ascendant opposing Pluto as well as conjunct ascendant in my opinion is similar because your look, energy attracts power into your life, either you could be quite powerful or you attract powerful people. So you could look quite fragile. Pluto in the 7th shows relationships with power plays, you could be the strong one or the weak one or interchange between them but in any case there would be an intensity to the appearanceIP: Logged |

Hey, HunkofRope! If you know a Sun CNJ Pluto CNJ Mercury in Leo person I imagine you will find them a bit scary. There is one in my family, now a grey-haired old lady but still quite formidable. And a little insane, too, but that's another story. Don't get on the wrong side of the plutonic Lion. IP: Logged |

I would say that's a bit too wide of an orb... especially if it's out-of-sign and in the 12th house, not the 1st. Especially since Pluto is a generational planet and moves very slowly. I would allow a 7-8 deg orb. I would say the Scorpio Ascendant makes you intimidating. IP: Logged |
