My Aqua friend gets all evasive on me if I see him out and about and I ask him where he's going. He says 'Oh you know, here and there'. Grrrr, I mean I'm much too proud to beg and I didn't care that much anyway.

The ladies just lurrrrrve him, he's so 'mysterious'.

He happens to be the biggest hottie around the place but he trades on that and the Uranian shock thing a bit too much. He wouldn't get away with it if he weren't half so good looking or half so Aquarian. He is kind of obvious to me. I like him a lot, having said all that. Wouldn't touch the guy if I were single though.

Sometimes when he comes over for the evening I make a point of yawning and going to bed early. I think it really ****** him off, not that he ever says anything, I hear it second hand from others. Two can play at that game mate.

I hate when others try to "pin me down" or find out details about me, my plans, my whereabouts.

I hate having a cell for that reason... I feel like it's a leash... I'm notorious for not picking up, and I never listen to voicemails.

I don't think it's me trying to be evasive or mysterious, just trying to keep my independence, weird, yes.

And yes, a bit hypocritical, cause I like to know what everyone else is doing/up to. On the same notion, I'd never "ask" what someones plans were... I'd use more subtle ways of finding things out... direct questions seem too harsh and nosey.

I know what you mean bluegrey! It's irratating to have my phone ring off the hook. (And ringing off the hook is like 10 people calling me in one day..) It's not that I don't love and want to talk to my friends, I just don't have that much attention to give. It's draining to me. People eventually learn that when I feel like talking, I call..

While I usually like and get along with most Aquarians, I don't know if I'd ever date one. The guys are really funny, playful and flirty... most aquarian men I've met had a ton of girls after them. But, they are not big on commitment... they were usually the 'player' type. I guess there's nothing wrong with that... well unless your expecting to pin one down. They can be commitment-phobic, not wanting to put all their energy into one girl. But I've always enjoyed the company of Aquarian males... but harmless flirting and nothing more.

I agree bluegrey. I don't like people trying to ask me what I'm doing or where I'm going... its like, I'm not married to you or anything, so why is it any of your business? That tends to p*ss off the Water signs who are prone to be clingy. I never connected that it may be my Aquarius Sun that doesn't like to answer to anybody.

I can understand the Aqua mentality but when you ask one what they're up to when you meet them in the newsagent they go all weird on you and act like you're the frigin Stasi, when the night before they asked you what hospital you were born in, and what exact street you lived in. It ain't fair! Bless em.

^thats interesting. you know what, come to think of it, I never took that to be an Aquarian influence... not wanting to reveal anything about yourself, and not telling people where you've been... I always thought that had more to do with Scorpio. My scorpio rising tends to make me private, secretive, and doesn't want to tell anybody anything! I wonder if your friend has some scorpio influence in their chart.

i love aqua men and women...married to a water bearer ans i love, his quirks...even after nearly 9 yrs together...for some reasone we click, i love his mind, spirit, and quick wit. everyone needs and aqua...they're refreshing, not too over the top (leos), and will be your friend to the end.

you just got to get over that fact that time is nothing to them, they have a tendancy to take stuff apart to see what makes things work (they put it back together again always with extra pieces to spare), and they don't show they're jealousy.

i love my aqua man and every aqua i meet. they seem to understand the virgo too.

Ah yeah they do, maybe not yours but they do..Mine has outbursts of Jealousy..What annoys me also is thier unwilliness to compromise, seems all things has to be on thier terms..I like balance so its gonna be a fight..

Exactly!!! I feel smothered when too many people call me. Which is why it's so ironic (and aggravating) that I'm "the contact" between all my groups of friends... even my parents know not to call me, they just wait for me to call them...it's taken awhile for my Pisces mom to get me, but she's great now...

interesting! i don't really like people calling me either and i never really connected it with being an aquarius. i think it's cuz i like to do what i like to do on my time and when someone calls they usually want to hang out or want to know what i'm doing and i prefer to just do my own thing and see people when i'm up to it or when i bump into them on the street, most of the time. god that seems so snobby though, doesn't it?

No, heart cakes it doesn't[sound snobbish]. Not to me anyway! I'm the same way. I prefer to think of it as my "me time". If I spend too much time around anyone, I just feel a little bit overwhelmed and 'off'. No fun for anyone.

yeah i think it must be a combo of my big three. aquarius is highly independent and NEEDS space, taurus moon is a homebody and sag rising likes the adventure of going to town and finding whomever she finds and hanging out on the fly..

virgoleorising, I agree Aquas don't generally show their jealousy (which doesn't mean they wouldn't feel it). Aquarius is the sign that can best hide this feeling.

Jealousy is, of course, a natural feeling for all humans, Aquas included ;-))

That would mean registering a negative and painful emotion. People would know.
We would prefer to just walk away.

I actually got out of bed, walked out of the room without saying a word and never contacted or allowed contact from an ex of mine because he said something that shot a stab of jealousy through my heart.
I knew from that moment it was over.
Absolutely no point in allowing any more damage.
Ten years on he still has no idea!
I was a bit more hot headed then!!!

Oh christ I HATE feeling jealous. I also hate relationship "games." They're so arbitrary. I view them as trickery. I'm upfront about my affections and I would prefer it if my love interest is upfront about theirs. If they want to call me, GO FOR IT. I'm not going to judge you for calling me the same night after a date. Jeez. And playing me hot and cold won't make me do anything except give up on you because feeling needy is not my thing. If you make me feel needy, it's over.

I'd agree that aquas are one of the more controversial signs.

Dont 'make me bust out a run on sentence story about an aqua.

I once lived with an aqua who charged me with a "crime in her high court" because I didn't wring out a dish sponge.
