I just read about this Saturn - Chiron clash between 2 people on Magi Astrology site. Is it really true?? I read their examples as well and it made..me so paranoid. In my case, the last relationship ended super badly with me having depression for a long time. I did, in fact, have Saturn oppose his Chiron.

Now it scares me to hell. I'm currently with another whose Chiron also oppose my Saturn. (even my Chiron also oppose his Saturn gosh)

Help plzzz Thanks a lot sweeties

It's one aspect out of many on a synastry chart symbolising how two people interact. It's not an automatic deathknell for your relationship.

As you've walked down this street before, you will have a better idea of how to handle it. If you see what I mean?

You must be close in age.

A suggestion: meditate on the old saying “don’t believe everything you read.”

Magi’s interpretation of Saturn/Chiron aspects is not the only one out there. I find Magi a bit harsh, sensationalistic and black’n’white, even though they do have good observations.

Please read Barbara Hand Clow or Martin Lass on Chiron before you continue on cultivating paranoia Saturn/Chiron can be a difficult interaspect, but if you are attracting these people into your life it means you have something to learn from them (and they from you)…..

Here’s Martin Lass on the opp, although this is natal it can be informative for synastry too:

"After Chiron conjunct Saturn, Chiron opposition Saturn is perhaps the most difficult of the Chiron-Saturn aspects. Saturn’s power to hold us in one place )until we begin to take responsibility for our lives and attend to our healing journey_ is somewhat broken down here. The reason for his is that the opposition aspect gives us a place we can run to when things get too difficult or painful, gives us an alternative, and gives us the power to challenge, reject, and/or disagree with what is thrown our way.

In practice, when things get to difficult or painful, we tend to run in the opposite direction – in this case, towards Saturn. We batten down the natches, taking up conservative values, acting conservatively, and opting for conservative situations. We tend to fall back on what we know workds, even if it is stifling to do so. After a time, though, finding ourselves too limited, restricted, held back, held down, and suppressed in our life’s expression, we run the other way again – in this case, back into our wounds and issues. This tick-tocking catalyzes and facilitates our healing and evolution of consciousness by ever impelling us to look at our issues and wounds.

On the one hand, we may tend to see our limitations, restrictions, suppression, and repression as being caused by others – for example, the expression of “father” and/or authority issues. Here, our path requires the healing of blame and judgment by seeing how these things served us in many ways, not the least of which was to contribute to us being who we are today.

On the other hand, we may tend to hold ourselves back – to restrict, limit, and repress ourselves – because the alternative is having to deal with our wounds, which we are not necessarily ready to do. This latter case can lead to conservatism, pragmatism, and hardnosed attitudes towards others and ourselves. We can tend to be hard taskmasters, in whyich case we are effectively becoming our “fathers.”

Either way, if we are willing to work with our wounds and issues, Saturn offers unparalleled support. Saturn is the gatekeeper, guarding the entrance to the outer planets – egven guarding the doorway to Chiron until we are ready to take responsibility for our lives. This said, the key to this aspect’s resolution lies in giving up blame and in taking personal responsibility for our lives, our issues, and our wounds.

When combined with other “easier” and significan Chiron aspects, this aspectt can be a welcome addition to the charts of people wishing to pursue a healing path – for themselves and/or for others."

(From Martin Lass, “Chiron, Healing Body and Soul”)

Here’s a favorite astrological quote of mine –
From Steven Forrest: http://www.stevenforrest.com/lovehandles.html

To me, in the realities of the astrological counselling room, there are
two immutable premises:

There is no manner of astrological interaction between two people that
is so inherently sweet that enough selfishness, confusion about sex, or
immaturity cannot turn it sour.

There is no manner of astrological interaction between two people that
is so inherently bitter that enough patience, devotion, and humility can
not only make it last, but make it something precious to both people.

Ah, you've put your synastry up. It seems you two were born within a week or so of each other, as you have exact conjunctions of all the outer planets. Anyone born in approximately the same year as you is going to have Chiron aspecting your Saturn.....

As I was about to edit and add to my first post I crossed with Zala who has made one point I agree with ~ anyone about your age is going to have the Saturn/Chiron aspect ~ so don't give it undue emphasis.

If that time of birth is accurate you both have Pisces Sun/Pisces Rising. You aren't going to run into that everyday, so that has the potential to be a strong tie. Then whilst you have Pisces Moon, they have Taurus Moon. Those signs are sextile, even if they aren't in that exact aspect here. But that means they can work well together. The moon is exalted in the sign of Taurus so they are going to be able to be sympathetic with your feelings.

i learned a lot from my first, that is including accepting him for who he is, putting aside hatred and all to be closest friends again. it took me a long time but it was really worth it. however, i just don't wanna repeat the same disastrous breakdown-up with my current..I guess the best thing is be positive and treat this so called hard aspect as some challenge needed to be fought and is REWARDING in the end...

your words are really inspiring.

lots of love and bless you ^___^

and yea, its true, we're only a couple days different in age lol

Hi Z

I tried looking up Martin Lass's "Chiron conj Saturn" online, but couldn't find it. Can you throw me a link?

Thanks a ton!

Hi 8th

How are you sweetie?? I owe you an email
That excerpt above is from Martin Lass but it isn't online (that I know of) -- although he does have bits at his website. It's from his fabulous and awesome book on Chiron, PLEASE pick it up if you can, it's one of the most empowering astrological books I have ever read

hi triplepisces,
Off the topic: this is amazing, you and I have lots of similarities in our charts! First, you're unique like me, ha ha! I'm sun, moon, rising and mercury in cancer with sun and moon in the 12th. I also have jupiter in the first, venus in the 11th and mars in taurus. But seriously, it's not very common for people to have sun, moon and rising in the same sign. Tell me, how do you deal with all that water? Do you feel overwhelmed sometimes? Because I sure do.

hi triplecancer

yayyyy, finally i found someone who is water all over lolz. for me, all of these pisces influences make me feel overly emotional and ultra sensitive =________= i have tried to fix myself a lot to adapt to ...well, others lolz. at the same time i feel blessed somehow because i 'feel' that i am really open, sympathetic etc..thats why i get a long with almost everyone and learn from them

the positive effects multiple and so do the negative effects lolz. I am prone to chronic depression and sorta bipolar. really indecisive at times and always changing, either my career, majors or my images.

etc...
