I found it interesting... then l looked to my progressed synastry with my b/f for the day we met.

It's so interesting!!! I do now think there is something to progressed chart synastry - here are my findings. (all within 2 degrees)

my Pr aprhrodite opposes his Pr eros (2)
my Pr psyche conjunct his Pr venus (0)
my Pr uranus conjunct his Pr sun (0)
my Pr uranus conjunct his Pr pluto (2)
my Pr valentine conjunct his Pr pluto (0)
my Pr eros square his Pr Armor (1)

There are more but l only just this morning got off a flight from visiting my love so i'm jetlagged!!!

- Venus- Mars conjunction or trine
- Venus-Venus conjunction or trine

in the progressed horoscopes. PErsonally I have found that you can extend this rule to the DSC-ASC-axis, too, including:

- Sun-DSC
- Venus-ASC and Venus-DSC
- Mars-DSC

Yes, and it can be NATAL to PROGRESSED synastry too when one meets.

For example l have
my natal sun opposing his progressed venus
his progressed sun inconjunct my natal venus
his natal venus trine my progressed venus

his pr sun/MC conjunct my pr ASC
my pr mars conjunct his DSC out of orb

I`ve checked the progressed synastry with this singer, and we don`t have the usual progressed synastry (what isn`t so surprising, since we don`t have a relationship). There was:

my pr Moon trine his NN
my pr Moon exactly sextile hsi pr Venus
his pr Moon opposite my pr Saturn
my pr Venus trine his pr Vertex
his pr Venus exactly trine my Uranus
my pr Mars conjunct his Moon
my pr Mars exactly trine his pr NN
his pr DC exactly trine my Vertex
his pr DC trine my pr DC

As you can see, nothing too great, at least no Sun-Venus, Venus-Venus or Venus-Mars-synastry.

But if you apply asteroids, it gets interesting:

his pr Valentine conjunct my Valentine

(he actually has an exact 0.00 conjunction of progressed Sun and natal Venus - seems to be a good time for him)

his Venus / Mars exactly squares my pr Venus
his Venus / Mars squares my pr Vertex
his Venus / Mars conjuncts my pr ASC
his pr Venus / Mars conjuncts my NN and pr NN
his pr Venus / Mars conjuncts my pr VAlentine
his pr Venus / Mars opposes my pr Eros exactly

Seems that there are some double whammies in the progressions.

It`s kinda interesting.
Both of us have natally some progressions that indicate a good time to fall in love.
For him it`s an exact conjunction of progressed Sun and natal Venus.
For me it is a 1°-applying conjunction progressed ASC and natal Venus.

Both of these natal progressions are being "hit" by the Venus-Mars-midpoint of each other, even by conjunction.

Also, the day we met, Transit Venus was trine his natal Venus and progressed Sun (and of course my progressed Venus-Mars-midpoint and was opposite my natal Valentine).

And the Transiting Moon-Pluto-conjunction was conjunct my pr ASC and widely conjunct my natal Venus, and therefore also conjunct his Venus-Mars-midpoint. lol
