Villy: I never said that people that don't believe in karma are idiots! I'm not even sure if *I* believe in karma. I'm calling people who throw that word around without knowing what it means idiots. And it's usually people with some thirst for revenge in their hearts that use that word the most. And I really don't think Sharon Stone got where she is today because she slept around. Sure, she uses her sex appeal, but MOST actresses have to use their sex appeal to be successful. Plus I don't think what she said is very Piscean at all. IP: Logged |

"Never miss an opportunity to shut up!" Over the past few days I have seen Stone in the news but never really cared for what has been going on with her. I just sit back and observe stuff and comment if I absolutely need to. I think it's a quote that anybody can use - even those in high places. It seems like some people get themselves in such a tizzy with what they say and the rest of the world gets riled up......that is a complexity within itself..... I'm sorry to hear of the unfortunate earth quake. ID IP: Logged |

I don't think she meant to say they all deserve to die. PRobably just a lousy, ignorant comment. Sometimes I think the concept of karma is just used to justify all the suffering in the world, but frankly I don't think bad things happen to people because of karma. The world is just unfair. If I did something bad in a previous life, why do I deserve to suffer and struggle in this one if I can't even remember having been a bad person before? It doesn't make sense to me. IP: Logged |

I'm glad, there are people, who have similar opinion to mine. The negativeness of some writers here is just alarming. And I'm speaking mainly about you, Lara. I don't want to argue with you, Lara, but it's not the first topic, where I see you spreading your negative energy, and ,to my mind, your moaning about Pisces is wrong. IP: Logged |

Jan - ok.Im not moaning about Pisceans here - we are talking about karma!!! Anyway, Dior just canceled her contract so l guess she has ultimately suffered her own karma from the consequences of her words, n'est pas? Not sure how you can say i'm being negative. It is a well-known FACT that she slept her way into the role of Basic Instinct and i'm not really a negative person; just a realist. Pick me out if you wish though cos in truth l don't really care.... it doesn't affect me non a personal level in any way. Oh, and l never even mentioned her connection with Pisces in this thread... only my observation that Pisces is given this spiritual accolade which l don't find is necessarily true in my life. Is that fair to say? IP: Logged |

Dear Lara, I don't think, the situation doesn't affect you as you say. The number and style of your messages shows something different. Sharon slept her way into the role ? Fine. The only question is: why is this "fact" so important to you ? I think, everyone should be allowed to speak about anything and to sleep with anyone without your or mine majestic permission. Or should the whole world live according to your personal values ? Jan. IP: Logged |

Sleeping her way to the top or not - it has NOTHING to do with your post to me, which l now refer you to again."And I'm speaking mainly about you, Lara. I don't want to argue with you, Lara, but it's not the first topic, where I see you spreading your negative energy, and ,to my mind, your moaning about Pisces is wrong." Please take the time to show me where l have been negative as l resent your accusation when l am a positive person to whom negativity does not hold any place. Either show me or just say "hey, l was mistaken. Speaking the truth about Sharon Stone doesn't make you a moaning negative old cow"!!! Who cares if she slept her way to the top anyway? It was a singular comment - you going to now burn me at the stake for it? wow... talk about projection lol IP: Logged |

I think, all your posts on the first page of this thread are exceptionally full with negative emotions. Reread them. Nobody would write anything like that in a calm and peaceful state of mind. IP: Logged |

Unmoved, thank you very much for sharing it with us. However, it would be better, if people would try to help the victims of earthquake in China and not concentrate on Sharon Stone. I think, nobody, who rant here about Sharon Stone, donate even 1 $ for the earthquake victims. Condemning is easier than helping, isn't it ?IP: Logged |

Jan_AI do my bit. I am usually hands on like helping at the Hospice and watching people dying with cling wrap to hold their flesh to their bones, dying of AIDS. Thins is amongst other charities which I contribute to where I actually go play with the children and spend time with Aids orphans. Sorry if that's not enough for you. I'll send that dollar to China! Christ. I was just sharing something I received from an entertainment newsletter pertaining to this subject. added: Sorry Jan_A - you sounded judgmental, and I became snappy. IP: Logged |

Unmoved,On a lighter note thank you for sharing the article. I can understand Dior's decision to pull Miss Stone from their campaign. It must put Christian Dior in a very awkward position indeed, which is not really what they need from their employee! I hope you have a good weekend. I admire you for comforting last stage AIDS victims. It is not easy to watch such a ravaging disease grip a man so viciously. I used to give foot/hand massages to those in the late stage too and every night l went home l would pray like crazy that l would still see the shine in their eyes the next day, and yet part of me was wishing the suffering would end.

I was too traumatized to go as far as foot rubs as you did Lara, so I read to them and made them laugh and just tried to talk and keep them company. Now I concentrate more on the kids left behind. It's a bit painful to see the adults suffer. Actually my mother told me to go towards the kids because I would cry all the time from seeing what I saw. That's when I also did some work with the school for the deaf. I am less there now but I still go there and give my clothes or do clothes drive to sell for the Hospice and I always go past the Hospice shop and buy old books, not because I need them but just because. I got introduced to the Hospice via the school choir. Just talking about it chokes me up. I give you props too Lara for giving part of yourself because that's all we need, just one person visiting to cheer them up, or sing to them, or play with them (the kids). A side job like this can make us hard sometimes, but it's the shell that we build to prevent us from breaking down. Because we are supposed to be strong for them. Me and the kids play cricket most of the time. LOL...When I get back to the city, we are going to plan to get some of my friends and plan a picnic for them and get them to meet their fvorite sports stars from here in S.Africa. Have a lovely weekend to you to Lara. Sorry Jan_A... I jumped into a heated conversation adding my 2 cents. I never mean to offend. IP: Logged |

It's so painful and if you are emotional like me, as i'm sure you are - it's so hard not to break down in front of them out of sheer anguish and compassion.I think i did the foot rubs as being an Aromatherapist l knew l could help them in this way. It really puts one's one life and blessings into perspective though. Good on you x IP: Logged |

Have you been taking your own advice? My apologies for being snippy if you have. Im just sayin'. *shrugs*
I dont think anyone's blaming Sharon's apparent cluelessness on being a pisces. In fact, I think its more to do with her clearly being a condescending and arrogant Tinseltown woman.
