Not to say that this is a rare thing, but I hate my job and my job hates me. I work as a lab assistant and all day long the people I work under are blaming and yelling (both at me and my co-worker). They're nice people in general, but they're even more negative thinking and socially retarded then I am! Sometimes I wonder if I should have listened to my parents and gone into another field. They think it is better for me to go into business (i.e. accounting). I was wondering if anyone knows about chart interpretations in regards to career paths. The two options I'm considering right now is to either be a nurse or an accountant (two very different things but I figure they're both in demand so I have a good chance of getting a job when I finish the degree).

Hi
Your MC is in Taurus. midheaven needs some kind of steady career path in order to function best. Irregular income is frightening. Open air careers appeal. Typical career routes include sports, horticulture or agriculture, financial management, food industry, accountancy, building, banking, singing, physiotherapy. Therefore, accounting could be the right choice.

Your chart has expired.

Just wondering if nursing is a good call if you don't have confidence in your social skills? You will get plenty of yelling and blaming on the wards as you will be between demanding doctors and stressed patients.

Thanks for the info. Here's another website with my chart information.

http://astro.cafeastrology.com/cgi-bin/astro/natal?member=&recalc=&name=&sex=&d1day=31&d1month=5&d1year=1985&d1hour=10&d1min=26&citylist=Albany%2C+NY+%2836%29%2C+United+States&lang =en

I was semi-serious about being socially retarded, I like people and talking to them but have a problem of oversharing and it gets me in trouble. Like now. I was just wondering if there were any astrological pointers to a career field. The midheaven interpretation describes me, I don't like to be in a position where my job is unstable.

You've got MC in Taurus with both sun and mercury in the tenth house. You probably can't stand taking orders and need to be your own or at the very least, you need people to appreciate your efforts (sun in tenth house). Mercury in the tenth house makes you good at careers that require good communication skills. Your MC in Taurus gives you good business or financial ability. Venus also conjunct your midheaven, so this position strongly favors the arts.

Based on all of these factors, I would suggest becoming an accountant and when you feel financially secure, you can start up your own business (maybe a flower-arranging business or something else that's Venusian).

I guess I don't have much of a nurturing side to me. Oh well. Accounting it is. Though, does it require a lot of schmoozing to be an accountant? I always thought they crunched numbers, but some comments I've read said that to be an accountant and work your way up has nothing to do with talent and ability. Much of it has to do with who you know and how much they like you.

Thanks for your response!
