Is there any significance to a Virgo sun and a Pisces moon combo in a chart? It's what I have, could it contribute to the two very different people I can be?

The Holy Longing

by Johann Wolfgang von Goethe

Tell a wise person or else keep silent
For the massman will mock it right away.
I praise what is truly alive
And what longs to be burned to death.
In the calm waters of the love nights
Where you were begotten,
Where you have begotten,
A strange feeling comes over you
When you see the silent candle burning.
Now you are no longer caught in this obsession with darkness
And a desire for higher lovemaking sweeps you upward.
Distance does not make you falter.
And now, arriving in magic, flying
and finally, insane for the light
You are the butterfly.
And you are gone.
And so long as you haven’t experienced this,
To die and so to grow,
You are only a troubled guest on a dark earth.

Sun in Virgo, Moon in Pisces

Although you have a real desire to serve others, your ideals are usually distant and consequently unreachable. A person with your introspective and highly emotional nature needs a stronger person to mold and contain this fluidity of character. To you, the abstract, the mystical, and spiritual are more real than any other realities. You are reflective and in touch with your subconscious, searching, probing, and exploring the labyrinths of the mind. Critical of yourself to the point of self-censure, however, you will hang a veil over what you have found in your soul.

Almost always you will find life difficult and will attempt to find release in mysticism or related subjects.

You must allow your Virgoan practical individuality to exert more force and tighten the reign on your actions. This is the key to a better balance and harmony in your nature.

Hello VirgoPisces & welcome!,

I have a question for you - how do you choose to express yourself? Does your Virgoan nature come across more often, or is it your Piscean Moon? How exact is the opposition in your chart (within a few degrees or wider)?

My guy has a Piscean Sun opposed his Virgo Moon, and has had a hard time finding balance between the two - well, at least it's hard for me, when he goes from one extreme to the other! It's like he's two different people. I think it is easier to balance if you have a planet aspecting both of those opposing planets; it gives you a way out. So, how do you do it?

Hola, Heart-Shaped!

How are ya doing these days? I've been in & out of here - mostly out these past few months due to my exhausting travel schedule. I'm trying to stay in as much as I can this month, so I'll have more time to spend on school stuff. What all have you been up to?

Sunshine
p.s. Where did you get that description of the Virgo Sun/Pisces Moon? I needs to get one of the opposite of that!

Thanks for all the replies,

Sunshine9,
I identify with Virgo, but I feel my Pisces moon as well. I'm extremely logical and organized to the point of being accused of being too "left-brained" but when it comes to emotional experiences, I think Pisces comes out the most. But I don't know, if I could tap into both of them at the same time I feel like I could be more in balance.

I want to post my chart but I'm not sure how.
If it helps, my birth info is

August 31st, 1985 4:30pm born in Peterborough, NH, U.S.

Thanks. : )
