OMG neither of these transits do that. Seriously who here got money during those transits?The one you might like is transit uranus trine sun. Outer planets to your sun make good stuff happen. Jupiter does not bring money during transits i dont care what anyone says. It brings on weight thats about it. ------------------

belgz, THANK YOU. I'm also tired of the Jupiter = $$$ fallacy. For instance, Jupiter transiting my 2nd ('07) was one of the poorest times in my life. In my experience, Jupiter can coincide with greater awareness of opportunities, but that's about it.IP: Logged |

Jupiter transits can bring REWARD. The first person asked about LUCK not MONEY. They are two different things. Jupiter-Sun connections are nice for reward, Jupiter-Uranus is more of a "lucky" transit. Jupiter-Pluto can also bring great wealth or resourcefulness. It all depends on what houses the action is happening in and what houses are ruled by Jupiter and the other planets mentioned.Yes, Jupiter can make you fat like jolly old St. Nick. You must also be careful of Jupiter when it comes to certain illnesses. Jupiter is well known for making tumors grow rapidly or helping the health condition, but there is really know way of knowing what Jupiter is going to do in a situation like that. I like Jupiter, he has brought me good luck at times, sometimes great financial windfall, and sometimes he has brought me reward in the form as something as small as someone offering me a slice of gum when I finish crying over spilled milk and it made me SO HAPPY!. i got money during pluto trine venus. Fell in love during uranus trine mercury and sun. The outer planets pluto and neptune and uranus are the good ones and bad when theyre bad lolJupiter trined my venus in xmas and i put on heaps of weight LOL its not opposing my sun and mercury and im still putting on weight i wish it would F*** off ------------------

tJupiter was trine my Venus. I gained weight.now it is trine my nSun so I can just anticipate the proportions (excuse the pun) of damage that will cause. I can concur that Jupiter *sigh* makes a person gain weight. Or its quitting smoking or not going to the gym... I dunno but!... ahem... I have gained 4-5kg. Basically, I coast around 55kgs. So... what's going on now is just ridiculous!  Gosh! Oh... to answer your question... I got lucky (hee) when tJupiter was in my 1st house, so it touched my Asc, then hit my Jupiter, and my Mars. my body was bangin' (good ol' days), my social life made a huge peak and a wish came true. - And these natal placements are in harmony with nSun in 11th and nMoon(on my MC). Lucky in what way? added: in case you think I am being cryptic, this is what I weigh Answer: 60 kg = 132.277 lb and 122 is my limit. I am going to get a snack to comfort myself. Anyone who is complaining about Jupiter only making them fat when those good transits come around is making a huge mistake in only focusing on the weight gain.Take a minute to remember what else was going on during that time other than gaining weight. Also, when you have Venus-Jupiter aspects natally, there will be an emphasis on blood sugar. Either you will have a tendency to have high or low blood sugar, or someone in your family will have diabetes or diabetes will run in your family. Maybe that's why the weight gain occurs with Venus-Jupiter transits. As an example, Charlize Theron won her Oscar when Jupiter was conjunct her Venus. She probably didn't gain weight because she has a team of trainers, so we'll never know if that was an issue at the time. Hollywood standards dictate that no weight gain is to occur between January 1st and Oscar night, so who knows what else was going on. Anyway, what else was happening other than weight gain? Good point Geo Well, l don't know about transits but l find my jupiter in my 12th conjunct my ac is like a guardian angel for me, so l guess that jupiter mainly brings a sprinkle of gold-dust to whichever house it is transiting?

In my natal chart i have jupiter square venus and my dads side all his 16 brothers and sisters have high blood pressure and majority have diabetes. Though noone is overweight and just the men have a bit of a belly lol its in the genes i think. I honestly have a problem i cant stop consuming sugar. I dont have diabetes but i cant stop eating chocolate and other things like condensed milk and whatever is sweet.Natal Jupiter trine venus doesnt make you overweight i was referring to transits ------------------

The Jupiter Venus thing is derived from Jupiter's expansive nature and Venus' decadent nature - which can cause over-indulgence, or make one more vulnerable to it because generally- when things are good, we loose discipline and focus on celebrations.As I said above - Jupiter affecting the AC and MC are good for luck but luck, is something we create. So, I agree with Geo. it is a time of the fruition of one's efforts. If you make efforts of indulging, it will reward that. If you make efforts towards a goal, it will reward that. etc. etc. There are two sides to Jupiter I have been told. Jupiter expands and rewards. But being a benefic, Jupiter is not sinister.
