Ive noticed with a lot of Gemini rising people, I've come across...they grow up not knowing what to label themselves, they grew up possibly in an environment questioning what are they? who are they? theres some sort of confusing element in where they belong in society, mainly race, but other ways too. they all seemed to have a hard time placing themselves in society, they had to learn to adapt to different situations, people, etc....IP: Logged |

YES to all of the above!!!I am pisces sun w leo moon and gemini rising. I went to 5 primary schools and 4 high schools, moving all over the country w my mum and sister. I've finally settled in a tiny country town w my 2 kids and I'm not moving, lol. It seems I've found a place to belong, but that STILL doesn't mean I fit in anywhere- even here. IP: Logged |

My mom has Gemini rising and their family moved to another country when she was 9. Before that they moved like 2/3 times from one city to another. After she went, again, they moved a couple of times. Then she got married with my dad and moved back to the country she was born. She left her parents, friends and brothers there, so she always talks about how she felt kind of lonely when she came back. And her dad, my grandpa, he moved from one country to another, like 4 times, I'm not even counting the cities ! But it was war times so that kind of explains it.So it either runs in her genes, or it's her Gemini rising ! She is still a bit confused about where, to which culture she belongs- her parents' country, the country she was born+lives in or the country she spent 18 years in ! IP: Logged |

I too like OzMeg222 have the same sun sign and gemini rising. IN my case i have travelled to many places right from childhood. Was in a coupe of countries till my folks settled back where i was born and have been here since. I too feel a connnection with more than one country and this issue of patriotism doesn't really gel with me. I feel more like a global citizen rather than a citizen of one particular country. I get along with people from everywhere. I really love to travel and readily pack my bags at the drop of a hat whenever the opportunity presents itself. I too have experienced the questioning of identity. I feel this makes us less attached to any one place and can be positive in a certain way.IP: Logged |

I'm 35. I don't remember having identity issues per se while growing up. I knew I wanted to be a pastor or possibly a rock star. who are they?
I remember fairly distinctly when I decided to stop thinking that I wanted to be a musician, and realized that I was already a musician. I was maybe 19 years old. theres some sort of confusing element in where they belong in society, mainly race, but other ways too. they all seemed to have a hard time placing themselves in society, they had to learn to adapt to different situations, people, etc....
I don't have race issues.Gemini Rising is a placement of indecision, and I do suffer from that. I recently learned that my Sun/Moon combo (according to Noel Tyl) also contributes to having lots of idea without a lot of follow through. I am adaptable. I feel like a bit of a contradiction in that I feel like an everyman, while at the same time feeling like a little disconnected from everyone. I do enjoy playing with my looks and style. I think it's probably my own job to find/create where I fit in society. IP: Logged | |
