lol. funny.. on the contrary. I have known two capricorns that were popular.. I didnt like the one.. but the other cap is the most chill nice guy ever him being unliked was unheard of there was just simply no reason for anyone to not like him.

Maybe the Cappy had Aquarian Planets....that would be enough to make the coldest Cappy friendly and inviting...I know a Cappy lady who is quite the social butterfly...

I had different periods of popularity. When I was little I had tons of friends and always had playdates. Then there was a period where I was not popular, and then I was more popular again. I have sun and moon in 12th house, so maybe I don't shine so much in the outer world and my moon is square pluto. On the other hand I have venus in gemini in the 11th which means a sociable and popular person.

no his venus is in sag. he has sun conjunct saturn neptune and uranus all four planets withing the first 9 degrees of Capricorn. Everyone loves him that I knew of.. he was into drugs and drinking alot though. most of the time you remember with him is most likely when you are high or drunk or both. and he smoked ciggerates alot to lol. it was kinda like a joke whatever you could imagine him doing he would be smoking a ciggerate.. lol our floor went /canoeing in a lake or stagnant river once and he was puffin away while trying to row.. lol.. he was really concerned with anything except for hanging with his freinds and having a good time.. he didnt even express the least bit interest in girls. Im not sure his birth time but it looks as his moon is in virgo. I think there is more though.. I could be wrong.. but for some reason I thought it a possibility that he was depressed I just couldnt see a reason for escaping so much..

What does the word "popular" truly mean?

Isn't that someone else's temporary impression of you at a particular time?

Can anyone TRULY be "liked by everyone" "all of the time"?

I understand that people can be "famous", but does there fame really rely on who they really are, or is it a carefully built facade based on a marketable aspect of there personality ( in astrological terms, perhaps a strong Uranus combined with a personal planet)?

I don't claim to know, I'm just askin'.

well... you can be popular for doing awful things like Hitler, or be popular for doing good things like Mother Teresa. Or, like Paris Hilton, be popular for no reason, or be popular amongst your peers in a certain profession or community.

I don't know how to answer this question, but some stressful transits could cause us to hide away from the world, while others make it easier to express oneself. Then, in the natal chart, there could be some afflicted house, or planets that may play part in ones vitality or ease/difficulty in self-expression.

Because at the ascendant - Jupiter can cause confidence or over confidence at times. Mars in 1st house can give you vitality and drive. Jupiter in the 4th house can bestow some love (being adored) in one's immediate environment. Pluto or Mars in 8th house can make you mysterious and powerful to people, that can make a person popular at times. The sun in the 10th house can bestow you with macro popularity. Nice placements in the 11th means lots and lots of friends or a lot of contact and reliability on friends. 12th Neptune can make you creative and profoundly spiritual and you could be popular for your creativity or for spirituality.

I think popularity is just being liked by alot of people. the kind of person who is everyone's friend and everyone enjoys their company. they are generally outgoing, friendly and open. so then, unpopularity would be the opposite of that lol. not being liked very much, in general.

I would attribute a strong Saturn, and maybe Pluto to not being very well liked. It adds seriousness, reserve, intensity, secretiveness, perhaps shyness. They are not very outgoing and sociable, hence not 'popular'. Again, this is just in general, doesn't apply to everyone. Of course there are going to be exceptions. My Saturn and Pluto are somewhat strong, and its not like I'm a leper or anything, lol. but I do tend to have a small group of close friends... hard to open up to people right away.
