Do you guys think that this is a significant aspect? Jupiter and Juno are lovers/marriage partners (Zeus and Hera to the Greeks).

If you've had this aspect with someone, describe what it's like!

Mmm.. i know this has nothing to do with astrology, but according to the myths, hera didn't like zeus. she was older and smarter, yet she was passed up for world dictatorship on the basis of her gender, while being forced to 'obey' her little brother (yes, they were brother and sister, too).

So do you think it could symbolize a marriage for political purposes?

Jupiter expands what it touches. I think Juno is about commitment, trust, and equal partnerships, so the Jupiter person will highlight those issues for the Juno person and perhaps make her feel them to a stronger degree than she has had in relationships w/o that aspect. She'll be more likely to view the Jupiter person as a partner, like she's met her match. Jupiter will seem like someone worthy of commitment. She may also be more cognizant of any inequality/unfairness in the partnership, and more expecting/demanding of fidelity.

Jupiter usually brings good cheer, so this contact could bring out the more positive sides of Juno. Or it may just expand the negative sides of Juno (make the Juno person more suspicious of infidelity than she normally is). Or it could do some of both.

You could look at the Juno person's natal chart and see how Juno is integrated. The way the Juno person experiences this contact will probably depend a lot on whether her Juno is negatively or positively aspected.

Overall, I think this is a good aspect. The Jupiter person will feel his Jupiter traits (optimism, forgiveness, humor) highlighted when the other person expresses her Juno. But as with Juno, you'd have to check out how Jupiter is aspected natally.
