Most everything I have ever read or seen discussed related to the 7th house is about marriage and partnerships, both business and marriage.

I am wondering if anyone has experience related to the 7th house connected to an enemy. Also, does it have to mean "enemy" or just someone to whom you no longer speak? Is it necessary that the connection involves negative feelings or can it be seen as a more neutral thing?

It may have something to do with Librans (7th house) being argumentative. They can have the propensity to argue, believe or not!

7th house and Libra correlate with the opposition like 1st house,Aries correlate with the conjunction

oppositions can be mean at odds with each other and can be polarizing, but it can also be complementing,relating,and awareness of the other.

I posted about this a little while back. I think that if the sign on your 7th cusp is in "bad" aspect to the rest of your chart, then that sign becomes the sign of open enemies. This has been my personal experience. I have no idea if that works for everyone though.

And on the other hand, if the sign on the 7th is in harmonious aspect to the rest of your personal planets, then it becomes the house of marriage partners. I'll bump the thread i made as some members said some great comments.

Got Gemini, you mean, if the planet ruling the sign on the cusp is well aspected, right? Not if the sign is well aspected, right?

For instance, if the sign on the cusp is Taurus, the ruling planet of Taurus is Venus, and if Venus is well aspected...

If that's what you mean, I agree with that general train of thought.

If that theory is correct... Mercury is the planetary ruler of my 7th... and Mercury is conjunct my sun, and opposite my moon. As well as in mutual reception with my Venus. Those seem like okay things (at least there are no squares), and the 7th house does seem to be my house of partnerships moreso than the house of open enemies.

Or to synastry between two people's SR/VR charts??

Belage, well for me, Pisces is on my 7th house cusp. I have a relationship with a Pisces. I will just say without getting into detail that it is very trying. I would be very hard pressed to get with another Pisces. Its not our Neptune connections. Its that our Suns are squared 2 degrees.

I'm not sure on the rulers though. Taking a guess, it might be different for others based on their natal configs.

Got Gemini, let me see if I understand you.

Let's say the sign on the cusp of your 7th is Pisces, if you were to meet a Pisces person who's sun is square or opposite to yours, he would behave as an open enemy. But if you were to meet a Pisces whose sun was not squared or opposite to yours, it would be okay.

Is that the gist?

To answer you question, I don't think they would personally act like my open enemy, I thi k it would just be very very very difficult to maintain a harmonious reltionship with them for a long time.
