Which chart drawing house system do you prefer and which is better or more accurate when doing a reading.

I like Vehlow.

Iqhunk and Kick It posted something a while ago about why Equal is best and thats what I have been using since. I forgot what they said exactly but it made a lot of sense.

My chart reflects me more accurately when using Vehlow. I wonder why.

I´m always torn between the equal and Placidus.

Theoretically the equal system makes a lot of sense to me, especially if you considere how unequal the houses can get in Placidus and other systems, when you move far north.

But I once made a chart for a friend who is living in Sweden. Her 1st and 2nd house are only about 7° wide, while her 11th house is 62° and her 12th house 66° wide.

Quite in the beginning of getting to know each other, I put her chart up with both housesystems and gave her the interpretation for each one.
I was pretty convinced she would identify with the equal system a lot more.

But I was wrong. The interpretation for the Placidian system was the one that resonated with her the most and gave a very clear picture of her actual life, especially in terms of relationships.

This was very interesting to see.

Thanks DD

Say... have you ever tried the Vehlow house system before, and if so, how did it treat you?
