this just occurred to me, but i haven't thought it through. i am having transiting pluto conjunct my venus exact right now and my crush has become an obssession again. i am an aquarius and the whole thing is really uncomfortable sometimes.. but when i go with it, it feels really transformative, in that good old scorpio way. also we both have uranus in scorpio, squaring our suns in aquarius.. so the whole thing feels like a mix of aquarius stuff and scorpio stuff. ALSO his aquarius stellium is in his 8th!! so it's like pluto/scorpio overload! and my aquariusness is like WOAH how trippy.. and kinda uncomfortable. slow down, dance on the ceiling, but for GOD'S SAKE DO NOT OBSESS!! and then i do anyway.

soooooo.. how do you guys work at balancing squared aspects?? i really don't see HOW with these two energies.. so i'm wondering, should i look to the midpoint? or.. is there another good way to do this? any suggestions? this one's taking me out to lunch (and to too many seedy motel rooms..). i need some perspective.

Well... as a person with two natal t-squares, I've been told to bring the focus on the "empty leg", ie the house opposite the apex of the t-square. eg Saturn in 7th is the apex of one of mine, so to break the tension I should focus on my 1st house. Hope this helps in some way (although I'm not sure how relevant it is if you're not dealing with a t-square)!

thanks ms. lover!

actually that is trippy! this square is in a t square: moon opposite uranus square sun! (and the guy i'm obsessed with has the same sun and uranus) AND not only that, but directly across from my sun is my LILITH. hmmm! and jupiter's not far off..

so i guess it's about rounding out my FIXED energy (they're all fixed signs!) or something, hey?

too bad there isn't much info on lilith. i'd like to know how to embrace her more in order to feel more balanced.. hmm..

Lilith, the asteroid???
or are you referring to the Black Moon Lilith

there are two versions
the mean Black Moon Lilith - mean lunar apogee
the true Black Moon Lilith - true lunar apogee

The Lilith archetype is mainly a feminine energy(after all,its based on the moon's orbit) and could even be feministic energy

I have Sun conjunct true Black Moon Lilith with 22 minutes of arc, and I have strong feminine nature for a male. I have Uranus conjunct mean Black Moon Lilith within 1 degree. I have Lilith asteroid square North Node in Aquarius with few minutes of arc. I am strong believer in equality of the genders. I even joined a National Organization for Women to support women's rights movement.
My Moon is trine the Sun-Black Moon Lilith conjunction, and I am attracted to feminist type of women. The woman that I love has Moon in Scorpio square Mean Black Moon Lilith with 1 minute of arc.

it's the lilith that you can select on astro.com's little menu there. i'm assuming it's black moon lilith?

i feel pretty feministic myself. my moon in taurus makes me feel pretty traditional and homey and the thought of staying at home and making preserves and tending the children DOES appeal strongly to me, but my sun in aquarius (which opposes my lilith within a degree!) wants to reform and change things for women, and embrace ANY mode of being a woman chooses. i'm by no means a hard ass anti-man type feminist (feminism for me is more about EMBRACING the feminine and finding the strength and power within it; emotion, beauty, intuition, non-linear thinking, etc). so yeah, i can see how that works in my chart! and even just thinking about it DOES make me feel more balanced! interesting..

thanks zala! will be pouring over that thread momentarily!!

oops, edit: lilith (12 leo) opposes my mercury and mars (11 aqua) within a degree, and is 3 deg from my sun (15)

That's all good stuff.

so you were referring to the mean black moon lilith..the mean lunar apogee

true black moon lilith....true or osculating lunar apogee is h13, and found in hypothetical planets selection section

thanks, glaucus! do you find the true black moon lilith more significant than the mean? my true black lilith is at 26 cancer.. and makes no significant aspects in my chart (though a few at an orb of 6 degrees each, which i'm assuming is too wide).
