Does anyone know what this aspect means in synastry? I have looked all over the Internet and in numerous books and there is very little information about this aspect. I am asking because my Neptune is conjunct my fiancee's south node. My best guess is that it deals with past karma dealing with deceit or illusions or old soul mates who need to move on. Thanks! I'm going to take a more optimistic approach, and suggest that maybe it doesn't mean anything. I don't see the need to create a situation where you might have been karmically linked.Going strictly by the meanings of the placements it means he's extremely comfortable (South Node implies he's been there time and time again, and he's intimately familiar with that area) in the area where you may experience illusion in your life. If you do have illusions in the area implied by the house your Neptune is in, he should be able to guide you very easily, and you should trust him where those issues are concerned. IP: Logged |

I had a karmic experience with Pluto transiting through my 4th house, and I met a guy that reminded me of my dad. I have MANY issues with my father. Well, this guy looked liked my dad, acted like my dad, and pretty much had the same feelings for me as my dad. This guy was MY DAD! I reminded him of his last girlfriend, and it didn't end well for the 2 of them. My dad used to always tell me that I reminded him of my mother, and he couldn't stand her. His Neptune was conjunct my South Node.Pluto taught me a valuable lesson these last couple of years. IP: Logged |

I can relate to this. reminds me of a past relationship where his venus conjunct my SN. didn't end badly. we just parted ways, but he really taught me much about the value of possession (venus) at the time I was too much into material success IP: Logged |
