can someone just clarify for me please. is a double whammy when you have mutual same aspects from same planets, eg mututal mars conjunct venus or can it also be same planets aspected but different aspects. eg. his venus trine her mars and her venus square his mars? if anyone can follow that, i'd appreciate an answer. thanks.

Expert astrologers have differing opinions on this one...

Mostly, I guess, it's the same aspect, but for example Janes Huntley lists all aspects as long as the same planets are involved.

Yes, I agree, there are different opinions on that matter.

Personally I call any two aspects a Double Whammy, as long as the same planets are aspected.

okay, so it's not one of those set in concrete things - like everything, open to interpretation. so as long as the same planets are aspected - that fits with me - makes sense. thanks, i appreciate the replies.
