Do you think that aspect alone played a great part how you two got along? Post the chart if possible. I'll go first.

Basically, my Mom and I AlWAYS get along GREAT. I always thought my Mom understood me and vice versa. She can still read me like a book without me ever having to say a word. I guess our Moons being conjunct in Libra played a big part in that.

Her Moon is conjunct my ASC (orb: 3). As if I, in my life, acted out her instincts and emotions ...

Her Sun is conjunct my Moon (orb: 2). As if the core of her personality was running through me, emotionwise.

There are some more strong conjunctions:

Her Mars cj. my Pluto (orb: 1) - as if my deepest rooted power was fuelled by her vigour.

Her North Node cj. my Chiron (orb: 2).

Her BM Lilith cj. my Part of Fortune (exact).

Her Satunr is cj. my MC (exact).

I experienced my mother as very temperamental, very active and a bit righteous and aggressive in my childhood. She got pregnant with me when she was very young (only 20) and she treated me a bit harsh, very unpatient and sometimes rude until I grew up. Nevertheless, she spurred me on to self-containment, independence and courage, she taught me to face life (my dad was rather the one to introduce me to the finer & softer things, like arts, music.)

The older I got, the more I became able to understand her and her own (difficult) family background. I started to identify with her more - and we grew more and more friends. I have the feeling, we're "equal" now.

My mother always seemed "stronger" than my dad, able to bare more and to do more. She has much temper, a fiery personality.

BM Lilith in my own chart is quite prominently placed and makes many aspects to my personal planets - I am not surprised that that image of the "strongwilled woman" is linked to my mother somehow.

My sun conjuncts her moon by a wide orb (8 degrees) and my pluto squares her moon by 1 degree.

We get along fine. She's goofy as hell, and I appreciate that. She pretty much lets me do what I want (I'm 20), but makes it clear what her opinions are. The only time in my life when we didn't get along so great was when I was a teenager and she was afraid of me getting into trouble. I soon broke her of it, kind of, and by the time I was 16/17 she basically let me do what I wanted. I remember once she kicked me out of the house when we had a really big fight and I spent the night at a friend's house. We ended up having to go to (unneeded) family counseling because she called the school the next day wondering where I was. So the county made us go and blah blah blah it was a waste of time. We just got heated at each other. Since then we haven't had any fights.

I dont know if the Moon is the most important to look here when it concerns me and my Mom.

We asre similar in a way and by that,we crash a lot

her enptune conj my ac - so maybe i tend to see her in a very idealistic way

My natal moon is conjunct my natal saturn RX in leo. It sextiles my mum's sun/moon conjunction.

We never had an easy relationship, I definately felt the saturnian restriction from her- I still do although I'm 30 and have 2 children. I guess thats part of the reason I live 4500kms away!
My sister is gemini sun and aqua moon so you'd think they'd get along better but that isn't true. They live together (at the moment) and I seem to be referee although I live such a LONG way away- often I get phone calls from both of them complaining about the other...

My Mom's sun conjuncted my moon, which opposed her moon.

Her moon also squared my Mercury and my Mercury squared her Mercury.

When I was younger, I always thought she was tough as nails and overly strict. (Her Mars squared my Mars and my Mars squared her Pluto.)

Once I moved out and started my own life, we both had an incredible spiritual experience together that bonded and changed us both for the better. At that point, she became my best friend and touchstone. (Her Chiron in my 9th.)

Looking back, it seems like we were given hard karma to overcome, with the reward of an incredible relationship for hanging in there and sticking it out. I am very grateful that she was my Mom. I couldn't have chosen anyone who loved me more.

my mom has scorp moon, mars and rising along with 11th house virgo sun.

she comes across as a highly possessive and sneaky mother around me. i love her but can never ever express that in words. i am always afraid that as soon as i show affection, she possess me like crazy. with pluto on 4th, it also scares me as if she will overtake powers of my life and emotions if she is around me. so, i always run away from her.
