Linda mentions the placement of Venus conj Pluto, in a synastry chart, in her book Gooberz.
She mentions that she didnt find that placement in any synastry charts she looked up except when she did one between her and Brewster.
It got me thinking, is Venus Conj Pluto a rare placement and what does it really mean?
I know that it means the two individuals have had many incarnations with each other and also karma.
However I have tried searching for explanations of this placement, but what I find is vague, to me.
I have this placement in one of my synastry charts.

I've had that placement once with a boyfriend and had it with one of my uncles, he passed away at 54 years old 2 years ago. There was nothing untoward about my relationship with him, but he was more like an older brother than an uncle. I didn't realize that we had that measurement until after he died. When he died, I had the strange feeling that a part of me died as well.

I've come across the measurement many times in synastry charts, mostly on this website.

An interesting experiment for you might be to go to Astrotheme.com and use the calculator they have that will let you find a celebrity who has a particular planet in an exact spot. You will see that there are many celebrities who have their Venus conjunct your Pluto or the other way around, depending on what time of the year you were born.

I knew a couple who had this synastry. The woman was married and while going through an on and off separation with her husband, she felt compelled to engage in this intense relationship with this other guy. The relationship was mutually obsessive for about 2 years, I was told the sex was AMAZING, lol, then they broke up, she left him, she was the Venus person, but he still remained obsessed with her for years afterward.

Interesting thing about their synastry was that she had her saturn conjunct his Venus, so while he brought intensity to the relationship with his Pluto, she brought a chilliness and materialism to the relationship with her Saturn. Basically, she left him because he was not making enough money to support her in the lifestyle her husband had accustomed her . She tried to get him to make money, but he was not a business minded, money making type of guy, so that was a wrap for her, in spite of the amazing sex. lol.

Thanks guys

Yes I agree that the sex, with this placement, is amazing, to say the least ( why do I have a feeling this will turn into a sex frenzy topic here? )
I just want to find out more of this placement.

Umm, Venus, you shouldn't even be asking that question!! The sex alone should tell you. Hehe!!

3.5 degree orb counts in my book. I consider orb up to 5 degrees.

ENJOY. lol!!

Wow I wonder what happens to a venus conj pluto person when they have class gathering or re-unions with their classmates. Are these people very loved by people of their immediate generation then?

Hi I just wanted to say I have this aspect natally by a wide degree of 9 and anyone who's pluto came within a few degrees of my Venus always thought I just wanted $$$$. I never acted like that at least I didn't think I did. But the guys would always say, what you think I can't take care of you or when I make such and such amount of money I will come back for you. What they never realized was that it wasn't about money, it was about I'm afraid to say, but total possession on my part.

PS...the sex is amazing :-)
