Hi,

I started with partnership astrology only a few weeks ago and I found about this interesting aspect of Venus + Pluto, aspect that is supposed to symbolise a "strong karmic bond with sexual flavour" and some people here call it "soul mates". I thought it is a rare aspect so I was quite surprised when I found this aspect in my synastry with 3 other girls that are currently around me:

1) Carolina
I met this girl at work 3 years ago, I liked her physically, she is quite hot blonde, big eyes and so... But only after a few weeks this started to change into something else ... she became my best female friend, girl that I feel like a new "sister" and I was telling this to people even before I found our Venus Pluto relation. They also noticed. When I was on a difficult bussines trip I received email stating that she is leaving our company, I almost started to cry before client's people so strong it was. I feel somehow sad from that moment even though we are still meeting each other at least once a month. We never had sex and I would never try to use our relation to get it from her, on the other hand, we are sometimes so close that I think we could do it and not feel it like a sin or something embarrasing in the morning. It would be ... natural ... but more like two siblinks trying to find for one night a shelter of healing love and light in dark and cruel world.

This girl is the reason of this post. I met her on a party where I was invited just one hour before it started, sitting before TV having dinner. I did not want to but I decided to go. I met her on a bar waiting for drink. She talked to me first, it was only a few minutes but at the end she gave me her number (almost) without me asking for it... (It doesnt look like a coincidence, right? it all smells like some Karma's plan
I called her the day after, I almost did not remember how she looks to be honest. I invited her to unformal dinner, she agreed in a minute. When she came I was surprised, she was SO beautiful... I got that bad feeling like it is impossible for me to have such a girlfriend and she thinks the same and the rest of the evening I was in this stupid mood and at the end I did not try to kiss her or even shake her hand (OMG!!! I still dont believe it) I simply felt like we are not matching and that's it, good bye Monique, I dont want to inconvenience you any more with myself, have a nice rest of life...
But because I always ask girls for birth datas I calculated the synastry for us and found that we are not very matching indeed, hahaha, but there is her Pluto trine my Venus and Sun plus her Venus square my Venus and Sun plus my Mars in opposition to her Moon. All these are still strong aspects that bring some relation and sexual attraction, right? I am trying to get again in contact with her but she doesnt seem to be interested. And for me... to be honest, I am doing this mostly because somehow I think I *should* but it would be much easier and natural for me just let it go... forget... This is why I am surprised, I would expect something much stronger between two people like us (if Pluto+Venus theory is right), something that cannot be broken by one (very) stupid date? What do you think? Thank you very much

Soul mates, twin flames, and karmic ties are much loved expressions here on LindaLand, dare I say a little overused, and so often reminiscent of the "curse of Hello!" (Celebrity magazine where gushing couples split up soon after their glossy spread appears).

Just be grateful that you're gettin' some. "Soulmates" if you talk to the soulmate astrologers here is a bit more than a few pluto contacts in synastry.

oh, lol! - i just realised - peaceangel welcomes demon! ROFL!

i agree with blue moon - the terms twin flames, etc, are very over-used. sometimes when you come out of the other side of a relationship you realise that the person wasn't what you thought or wanted them to be - including apprent soul mates.

soul mates can be many things - they don't have to only be romantic or sexual partners.
