I googled this topic but didn’t see much in the way of what it means and how to interpret them. Can someone be so kind as to explain what they are? Listed below are mine.Sun in fall in Libra Moon in detriment in Capricorn Moon in accidental dignity in the 4th house Mars in dignity in Scorpio Jupiter in detriment in Gemini Jupiter in accidental dignity in the 9th house Saturn in dignity in Aquarius Uranus in detriment in Leo

This is based on a sign basis only!!Dignities basically means that a planet is placed within the sign that it rules. When a planet is "dignified", it can be considered stronger than normal. The energy works very well. When a planet is in detriment, it means that the planet's strength is generally weakened. When a planet is in exaltation, it's considered the best possible sign placement for that planet. Usually, this planet is given a considerable amount of strength and influence, however, analysis of the entire chart must be done to back this up. When a planet is in fall, it's considered the worst possible sign placement for that planet. This doesn't automatically mean anything negative, it just means the energies are very incompatible. The planet is usually considered quite weak, but again, you HAVE to check the entire chart to determine this. For example:
You said quote: Sun in fall in Libra Moon in detriment in Capricorn Moon in accidental dignity in the 4th house Mars in dignity in Scorpio Jupiter in detriment in Gemini Jupiter in accidental dignity in the 9th house Saturn in dignity in Aquarius Uranus in detriment in Leo
Sun in Libra is fall because the Sun's exaltation is Aries. Arian energy is self-centered. The Sun rules the "self" and individuality, therefore, this is the best sign placement for the Sun. However, the opposite of Aries is Libra. Libra is a "partnership oriented" energy. Libran energy balances, mediates, and cooperates. When paired with the self-centered Sun, this is the worst possible sign placement because the Sun is our self-expression and individuality and when expressed through Libra, our sense of self is focused on others, therefore weakening the planet's mode of expression. ------------------ Sagittarius AC, Sun in Scorpio, Moon in Leo IP: Logged |

As shown in your list, a planet is also dignified in the house it rules.....IP: Logged |

I was about to add that Zala. e.g. My Mars is twice dignified because: 1. My Mars is in Scorpio. Scorpio's former or co ruler is Mars. This means that Mars is at home in Scorpio. 2. My Mars is in the 1st house. The 1st house natural ruler is Mars. This is the reason I am more Scorpio and Martian than my Sun sign Virgo. My moon is in Cancer, it's natural home. It is conjunct my MC enhancing it too because any planet conjunct the angles MC,AC gets a boost in it's qualities somewhat. So, even if the 10th house is not an excellent place to be for the Moon, on the MC it receives accidental dignity. I stand to be corrected. IP: Logged |

In one of my astrology books (I forget the name of it) it says that Mercury is Exalted in Aquarius, but every other site I've been to says that Aquarius has no exaltations and that Mercury is really exalted in Virgo. WHAT THE HALE.IP: Logged |

Scorp31 ~There are instructions in this thread on how to post an image (any image, including a chart gif): http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum1/HTML/015151.html You cannot copy and paste anything other than text from your hard-drive into these reply-text-boxes -- it has to be uploaded to a web-host and then linked to that URL.
