Astro.com confirmed my suspicions that I'm no real Virgo. I'd love to have stronger Virgo qualities because I envy that diligence and their need to serve qualities but I only act like a Virgo when I need to.

I am this instead, in order of strength to weakness:

1. Scorpio
2. Aries
3. Libra
4. Cancer
5. Virgo at less than 10% (8.1% at number 7 rank)

The percentage system (below) seems to relly heavily on houses. It would explain my results. It is interesting but doesn't realy match my internal life.

Mars is low in influence according to this, but being conjunct my NN, and knowing my weaknesses better than anyone I think it should be higher. Venus? Maybe I have more charm than I give myself credit for.

The planets make more sense to me than the signs, although I guess I just don't think of myself as all that Saggy like, but come to think of it, I am the most broad-minded Virgo I know. lol. I am fixated on both the details AND the big picture.

I have 4 earth planet in my chart and all my earth houses are full.....yet I'm not into money or materialistic.

Somedays I feel my sign influences come out - like tonight I'm feeling very piscean and tommorrow I may feel like an Aries and the next Taurus.....

As a Sun Gemini I have a core need for mental stimulation, but Gemini alone doesn't describe my attitude to relationships, work, etc.

Thinking on this subject it occured to me that if you have no other planets in the same sign as your Sun, are you going to identify with it as much as the next person who has maybe Mercury and Venus alongside the Sun in the same sign?

If you have a strong aspect from the Sun is that going to identify you with the sign it is aspecting? Or the planet?

Say you have Sun CNJ Mercury in Virgo. This is going to suggest your inner self as represented by the Sun is going to be strongly linked to your thought processes. Virgo precision and critical analysis is going to be something you more strongly identify with than if your Mercury was in a neighbouring sign, and say your Sun was Square Jupiter CNJ Neptune in Sag. In that case you might be more idealistic and less inclined to closely examine fine details.

Just a made up example.

For a real-life one, my MIL is a Libra, but her son always thinks she is a Virgo. Well, she has Virgo Rising with Virgo Mars tucked away in the 12th house. In the 1st house she has Mercury CNJ Neptune in Virgo. The vibe is Virgo, but if you get to know her well, there is a deep-seated sense of Libra, which I know she identifies with, and that is the drive to do things to please others. It comes out in Virgoan form, providing service in a neat and orderly manner. You will get timetabled, you will be instructed, but at heart it is for the sweetest of reasons.

I feel and act mostly like:
--Leo
--Capricorn
--Sagittarius
--Aquarius

I identify with my Moon strongly, so much that people tend to think I'm a Leo. I get that often, I think the combo of Leo Moon/Sag AC overshadows my Scorpio Sun. Personally, I know and feel like a Scorpio especially when alone, but any other time it's Leo/Sag.

I threw Cappy in there because I've oticed as I've gotten older that my natal Saturn/AC conjunction has become more prominent, and its influence has been overpowering my Uranus/AC tremendously. My progressed AC just entered Capricorn, and my progressed Saturn is 1 degree away from exact with my natal AC. So that said, I'm sure all of this accounts for my very Saturnine change in personality.
