I was wondering what might be a sign of a quick engagement / even marriage in synastry of two people.IP: Logged |

i would think that venus in aries in 7th house would be one particular. but definitely venus/mars 7th house aspects and aries. maybe even libra because the desire for a mate is so high. so maybe mars/libra/7th house.will be interesting to get other thoughts on this. cool question. IP: Logged |

No idea with natal. Best to look at transits which would show a time for marriage in both natals and the composite.IP: Logged |

probably strong uranus, this is instant attraction and points to something strong which usually doesnt have anything to do with real intimacy-yet is often mistakenly believed to be so.............experience... IP: Logged |

My fiance and I got engaged 9 days after meeting (though we were talking semi-jokingly about marriage the same day we met). It wasn't crazy lust, just complete comfort and familiarity with each other, shared spiritual goals, and a sense that we could both really help each other grow. There were a lot of odd coincidences leading up to our union and we feel it was somehow divinely arranged. We resemble each other in so many ways; we even look a little similar (I put pictures up on this thread --> http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum1/HTML/018545-7.html )We do have a Venus/Uranus double whammy though (my Uranus conjunct his Venus; my Venus trine his Uranus) which probably added to the fastness of it all. For me, I think my feelings are due largely to our moons being exactly conjunct. I have a poorly aspected moon (it's at the apex of a t-square between Pluto opposite a Sun/Mercury conjunction), and whenever someone else has a planet touching my moon, I feel emotionally stronger, as if my afflicted moon is gaining some energy and learning to stand up for itself. For him, my sun and Mercury are conjunct his north node, and my Venus/Jupiter/north node fall into his 5th house (and my Mars into his 7th). So instant attraction there. I dunno if this is related, but my name asteroid (in his chart) falls exactly on my ascendant, and his name asteroid (in my chart) falls exactly on his descendant. Psyche and eros are conjunct by sign. Other aspects, if it helps -- sun trine sun his sun exactly conjunct my Neptune his Mars exactly conjunct my Pluto my Saturn exactly conjunct his Mercury and Uranus his Jupiter sextile my Saturn, Venus, and Jupiter and trine my Mars double whammy of Mercury opposite Uranus his moon trine my Saturn his Pluto opposite my sun and Mercury his sun trine my Mercury my vertex and vesta conjunct his descendant my ascendant conjunct his sun/moon midpoint moon/Pluto square double whammy And the composite has Pluto, the chart ruler, sitting right on the ascendant, square the moon, trine sun, trine Jupiter, trine Mercury. "Transformation" is definitely a huge part of our relationship. I hope that helps some! Yeah, this is an interesting question. IP: Logged |

Nice work PeaceAngel. I have Mars in Libra in the 7th House. Even though this is natal, not synastry, I have found myself in deep very quickly in my 3 relationships. This has not necessarily happened due to a huge desire to be with someone. It's just the way its happened. However, when I have been single I do have an incredible urge to be with someone and have spent years alone and celibate (Venus in Virgo). On all occassions, my partners have wanted to be with me from the word go. For an independent person, I've found that hard. However, just to conclude, natal Mars in Libra 7th House have lead to a 'quick' instant relationship, but mainly on the behalf of my partner. The lesson I have learned? Take your time, even if it means placing a firm "Respect my independence" early on in the relationship (hard, I know, for a Libran to do that). Have a great day, knowflakes!!! koiflower xx IP: Logged |
