So, my upcoming solar return chart has Venus in the 1st, Venus conj Ascendant(but venus is in Libra, and the ascendant in Virgo)...I know its a CONJUNCTION...but how strong do you think it can still be? any experiences with this one? It will have 7 degrees of separation.

IMO the 7 degree orb will have an effect because Venus will be the rising planet in your solar return chart. Also Venus will be in her "home" sign of Libra, amplifying the energies. Since Venus is in the first, you will probably be spending your birthday year dealing with issues of self-esteem, material resources and finding personal balance. Romance may not be the focus because first of all Venus does not always signify romance and also it will be in the first house, which means its focus will be on the personality and individuality. Others may find you more attractive as a result of the work you do on yourself while Venus conjoins the SR ascendant, but it may not necessarily result in romance. Also you may find it easier to manifest your desires this year. Of course you will need to consider the aspects to other planets in the SR chart, as well as the aspects to your natal chart.
