i keep reading about stelliums in the threads and i've worked out that it's three or more planets conjunct in a natal chart.but does that mean that all the planets are conjunct? or, are two planets conjunct and then another conjunct one of the planets? eg. if venus is conjunct mercury and then mercury is conjunct sun? and what orbs do we use for stelliums? and, is it limited to planets or can you use other chart placements - eg, ascendant, etc? thanks. EDIT: lol - i just went back and re-read this after posting. i should have called it "stellium questions". i always mean to ask one - which then because one more and then another...... lol IP: Logged |

Hey PeaceAngel...!!My stellium is in Virgo.... Venus 15°28’15" Uranus 13°18’ 1" Pluto 14°59’ 5" ....pretty tight orbs there. I've read that it kinda fuses all planets together like one super planet. Transit Saturn is only 5 degrees away from my stellium right now. I will be sitting quiet for the next month or two until it passes. koiflower xox IP: Logged |

http://www.astrologysource.com/understand6.html
quote: This configuration is based on the conjunction, but instead of two planets within 12 degrees of each other you have three or more planets. At times the distance between the first and last planet is less than 12 degrees. This would be a compact Stellium. At other times the planets would be joined by consecutive conjunctions where planet a would be less than 12 degrees from planet b, and planet b would be less than 12 degrees from planet c, and so on. In this second case the distance between the first and last planet would be more than 12 degrees, but still all the planets would be considered as forming a Stellium. The strongest Stelliums, however, are form when all the planets involve are close together, in just one sign and in just one house. This was the case, for example, in February 5, 1962 at 2:00 pm in Bethlehem, Israel, when there were 8 planets in the Sign Aquarius, in the Eight House. This, by the way, was perceived by Jeanne Dixon as the birthchart of a "New Leader" that would revolutionize Christianity. To many this "New Leader" is none other than the Antichrist himself. This strong Stellium in Aquarius would also explain the strong Aquarian mood of the Sixties. Thus, it was not that "the Era or Aquarius'" as the song said, was starting but that the influence of Aquarius had been momentarily augmented by a Strong, once in a lifetime Stellium.

Hi PA! I know that I've read somewhere that when planets are in a stellium, that those that are out of orb to eachother are now considered "within orb" because of the planets connecting them inbetween. In other words, they will still influence eachother even if they would normally be considered too far away to be conjunct. I think it was considered the same thing with other aspects/planetary geometry as well. For example, if the first planet in your stellium is 10 degrees Aries, and this is in a grand fire trine w/ Saturn in Sag 10 degrees, and Mars in Leo 10 degrees, then the farthest planet in your stellium could still be considered in aspect to the others, even if it is traditionally out of orb (let's say it's 21 degrees Aries), as long as the planets within the stellium are each connecting to eachother. Does that make sense? I'm not sure what the allowable orb for that would be. It most likely depends on the planets involved. 8th IP: Logged |

bluemoon, you crack me upThe anti-christ would be 46 years old now (if he hasn't mastered some sort of anti-aging thing) and since his NN is in Leo he would charismatic, right? Star quality. And Pluto is there in the 3rd loosely conjunct the IC, so Pluto would be affecting communication in and IC sort of way... at our roots... and in Virgo he would seem very status quo and proper when he did that... and he's going to be wicked weird and wicked smart with all that Aqua, eh? And probably not good boyfriend material. Lara's PLuto is also in Virgo and in the 8th! House even. Oh my. Her NN is also in fire... We've got to watch out for you, Lara! IP: Logged |

8thyeah - i get that. i don't know why yet, but i really really like that information. thinking about it - it's probably quite common in charts - but like you said, dependent on the orb too. thanks for that - cool. IP: Logged |

larayeah - i noticed your nn last night - conjunct saturn and moon. how do you feel that? maybe - in this lifetime it's right for you to focus on yourself and your independence but there are limits - or maybe about balance - as to how you do that? IP: Logged |
