The following observations are from the book "Money: how to find it with astrology" by Lois M.Rodden.

The author notes that in a study of lottery winners, the following aspects were most consistently found:

1. Moon in Trine or Grand Trine. If not natally, in progression at time of the win.

2. Natal Jupiter in at least one trine.

3. Natal Jupiter in aspect to Neptune (a lesser aspect counts).

4. Natal Mars in aspect to Jupiter and Neptune.

5. Natal or progressed Venus or Jupiter in aspect to Uranus.

6. Natal or progressed Venus or Jupiter Retrograde.

7. Natal Pluto conjunct or opposite the ruler of the 2nd house within 4-5 degrees, or ins ome other asepct to the ruler of the 2nd house within 1 or 2 degrees, or in progressed aspect to 1 degree.

8. A close natal sesquisquare between two planets within one degree to show the potential for a sudden change of direction in the life, or a progressed sequisquare between two planets, 1 degree.

9. Natal or progressed interpositions or close aspects between the 12th house to the 2nd and/or 8th houses.

10. Transit Uranus in an aspect up to 2 or 3 degrees to the natal or progressed MC or the natal or prgressed ASC.

At least 6 or 7 of the list for a big-time win, according to the author.

yeah, i'll join that club too. or start the wishful thinking one.

just curious though. some of those aspects are pretty general - would they include squares or other so called "challenging" aspects?

Though the author is credible, this reminds me of some scientist experiments.

Speeding cars were divided into colour, with pink cars getting stopped the most by police. Therefore if you drive a pink car...you need to change colour.

1. Moon is part of a loose air grand trine with my Sun & Ascendant.

2. Jupiter trines my Mars, Saturn & Uranus.

3. No Jupiter/Neptune aspects

4. Mars in aspect to Jupiter, no aspects to Neptune

5. Venus squares Uranus

6. No Venus or Jupiter retrogrades

7. No Pluto conjunctions to my Moon (natal)/Sun (progressed)

8. Natal Venus sesquisquare Pluto

9. Natal Venus (12th ruler) square natal Saturn (8th ruler) 0 degrees

10. Uranus will square my natal ASC when it reaches 27 Pisces. It was conjunct my natal MC when it was at 4 Pisces. It will conjunct my progressed MC at 26 Pisces.

Maybe I should start buying lotto tickets?
