I start thinking that the aspects to the outer planets,e ven in conjunction, are only important under certain circumstances like:1. it`s a theme in your natal 2. Pluto is in important houses or ruling such houses 3. even if he is, I think, that aspects to the ruler of 8th house will have more Plutonic-feel to them, as a mere Pluto-aspect (my Pluto rules my 12th house and ironically if I have the Pluto part it feels more neptunian than plutonic; but wait until you aspect my Moon, which rules 8th house. I am scared, Plainly scared!) Also, you have to see what is up in the overall chart. Is there a Saturnsquare to that nice Venus-Pluto-conjunction? BTW my friend has a Venus-Pluto-conjunction natally in Libra and of course every of her boyfriends had his Pluto conjunct her Venus, because they are nearly the same age. Was that an allconsuming love and passion in every case? NO Way. Venus rules her 5th house and is placed in her 5th house, so the Venus-Pltuo-aspect should affect her romantic feelings (5th house AND Venus). But the thing is: Boyfriend no 1 had that Pluto in his 12th house (along with her Venus) and Pluto ruled his 2nd house. HE never saw her too clearly, but after a while he started treating her like a posession. Something that just is there, and it is nice that she was and supported him, but he didn`t pay special attention. In their best phases it was a calm, serene, sensual connection they shared, which made her feel valued and proteced (her ruler of 5th house conjunct his 2nd house ruler is almost like a nice Sun-Venus-conjunction) Boyfriend 2: Pluto ruled his 12th house, and she experienced him as dreamy at first and sensitive and wonderful, but later on it became clear how manipulative and deceiving and cheating he was. She never really understood him and she couldn`t get a clear perception of him, even though she was mesmerized for a while.
Boyfriend no 3 (and now husband): Pluto rules his 10th house. There`s no deep passion between them (but neither of them appreciates passion too much anyway), but a strong bond; they work at the same place and they are the best team I have ever seen. They care for each other and they support and share each other`s goals in life. There is a great sense of stability (ruler of her 5th house conjunct his 10th house ruler - like a Sun-Saturn-conjunction).
In her own natal the Venus-Pluto-conjunction in 5th house could be interpreted as sign of passion especially since it is opposing Moon in Aries. But even though she is very devoted to her principles, friends, family, she doesn`t like passion. It`s too unpredictable for her, she sais. Pluto rules her 6th house, so there is a conjunction of 5th house ruler and 6th house ruler, and the one thing she is really obsessed with is work and keeping things in order and neat within her little family. A great sense of perfection, which of course leaves little place for passion. The ruler of her 8th house on the other hand has only smooth aspects, including a trine to Moon and to Neptune. She likes things being deep, yet smooth and harmonious and dislikes the ups and downs and allconsuming feelings passion can bring into ones life. (Ruler of her 8th house is SAturn btw). IP: Logged |

Hi plutoprincess - I also have a Venus/Pluto conjunction natally which means my Venus conjuncts every male's Pluto my age. I've noticed no discernible increase in desire from either me or them in comparison to males from other age-groups.IP: Logged |

Bvanzy, when DID you feel increased desire / attraction for someone? I`d be especially interested to know, if there were - personal planets or points in houses 1, 5, 7, 8 - strong aspects (conjunction, opposition, square, antiscia / contrascia) of Venus, Mars, Pluto, Eros, ASC / DSC - strong aspects of the rulers of 1, 5, 7, 8 to Sun, Moon, Venus, Mars, ASC/ DSC, Eros or the ruler of 1, 5, 7, 8 in the other chart IP: Logged |

OK, I'll give it a go, starting early.Person One – I don't have his Ascendant. Status: A longterm, and long-gone, crush of mine. His Sun in my 1st house. His Venus square my Moon (which is conjunct my Venus/Pluto but out of aspect for the square itself). His solstice Venus conjunct my Ascendant. His Venus conjunct my Eros. His Sun opposite my 8th house ruler. There are other aspects obviously such as his Pluto conjunct my DSC ruler, but those don't fall into the categories which interest you most. Person Two – I only know the sign of his Ascendant. Status: first love. His Sun in my 1st house. His Moon conjunct my ASC. His Mercury conjunct my ASC. His Ascendant in my 7th house. His Mars in my 8th house. His Mars conjunct my Venus (plus 5th house ruler). His Mars conjunct my Pluto. His Eros conjunct my Ascendant. His Eros loosely square my Pluto (5') His Mars square my Ascendant. His Sun conjunct my solstice Ascendant. His 8th house ruler conjunct my 7th house ruler. There some excellent personal Jupiter aspects in this one, and as Jupiter is his Moon and Venus ruler, they probably count as blessings. There is also a nice trine between his 7th house ruler and my chart ruler, as well as between my 7th house ruler and his Sun.

I've been in one relationship, the most recent, with a very close Venus-Pluto conjunction in Scorpio (1 deg. orb) ..I am Venus..and this is the most hurtful, confusing, manipulative relationship I have been in..I totally did not act like my self (or I did..I just let my BAD insecure side come out big time) in this relationship. I felt like I had the upper hand until suddenly the tables turned. It was short-lived, intense, passionate, and definitely brought a change to both of us. We impacted each other's lives greatly though not sure how good a thing that is... Our other major aspects just for reference: (his)--(my) Sun trine Venus Sun conjunct Mars Sun conjunct Jupiter Pluto trine Mars Mercury square Sun Venus square Venus (i HATE those two squared aspects...HATE!!!) there are more just those are the major ones I feel. Also- not sure how Venus-Pluto aspect plays out if one of the people doesn't already have a connection like this..or a lot of Venus/Pluto influence natally. But we both have Pluto tightly conjunct our ASC's..Venus is conjunct my ASC in Scorpio so I'm sure this has something to do with our brutal connection. ------------------ Capricorn sun / Scorpio rising / Sagittarius moon Mercury:: Sagittarius Venus::Scorpio Mars::Pisces IP: Logged |

Hi Bvanzy! I've also thought of your point of view. And it's right I think. Of the two cases you mentioned, your aspects on the first synastry seem very "special" to me! Can you tell us more about the house placements in both synastries! Thanks!IP: Logged | |
