For some reason this cropped up early when I started engaging astrology and I have always been able to discern the birth of myself through my chart. I was reading something on another astro website and someone said that an angular mars or aries risings pertains to a forced birth of some sort. Very logical. I have aries rising myself and my birth was c-section. I was a 10-month pregnancy and was 11.5 pounds when I was born (asc conj jup in 1st). I almost killed my mother too. My moon is opp asc widely conj pluto (also conj DC but from the 6th). I greeted my dad by kicking him and was moved into solitary confinement in hospital because I screamed (mars in gem/3rd) and kicked. My dad said I was bright red always too. I'm curious about these aries influences on your others' birth. If you have these issues in your chart, was the birth forced in some way? To further extrapolate the issue, I'm pretty much interested in all birthing circumstances and seeing how the chart shows this experience. So I'd like to hear your experiences. IP: Logged |

I think Mars is to do with Surgery, so Aries rising makes sense in that regard.Aqua rising, Mars conj Uranus. C-section. I was one of three at the same time, so you could say our birth caused a bit of chaos. IP: Logged |

I've heard Pluto associated with C-Section ~ the knife on the horizon. I got excited by this as my husband is Pluto Rising and a C-Section. Except when I spoke to his mother she told me he wasn't a C-Section at all. The birth went O.K but there were serious problems afterwards. So all this proves really is my theory that he never listens properly. Isn't Mars associated with quick births? One of my kids has Mars Rising in the 12th. He was born very quickly, he was induced, but otherwise no medical intervention. And Neptune in the 1st, water birth. Aries is on the cusp of my 5th and 6th houses, Placidus. Both my births were quick, an hour and half first time, 15 minutes the second. I was born in 20 minutes myself as child number 2.

I was a c-section baby. They couldn't detect my heartbeat and so they went into an emergency c-section, and it almost killed my mom. Turns out, I wasn't in any distress at all (they did like a stress test on me and I came out normal?).My Mars is in the 6th house in Sagittarius (I'm Gem rising). I don't have any first house planets, but I have Chiron conjunct my ASC in the 12th? IP: Logged |

A friend of mine (my bf's sister) is an Aries rising and I believe she was delivered by C-section as well.My bf is an Aries rising but it was a 'normal' birth as far as I know. I have been told many times that a Scorpio moon or moon aspecting Pluto can indicate difficulties with the birth, and near-death experiences associated with your birth. I'm a Scorpio moon and there was a time during my mother's pregnancy that she started to bleed - I consider myself lucky that I'm here today and didn't end up as a miscarriage. My birth was caused a bit of tearing to my mother, and also she got a terrible fright the next day because it turned out that not all of the placenta/ blood had come out straight afterwards, and nobody realised. So the next day when all of this blood started coming out she thought she was dying! She's Pluto opposite moon herself, I hear that we all have issues related to childbirth. My bf's little niece had to be delivered by C-section three weeks overdue and the umbilical cord was going to start wrapping around her neck. Her moon is sextile Pluto. (She's a Leo rising and there are no harsh aspects to her Mars). I believe her mother is a Scorpio moon (conjunct Uranus). IP: Logged |

hmmHey 23! I was a c-section and l was born about 3 weeks early so l should have been a gemini I was also addicted to all the drugs my mother took during her pregnancy, so after a couple of hours of being in this world l suddenly went blue and they had to fight to save my life. Luckily a specialist in newborn drug addiction was in London that day from up north, and he handled the whole thing. I was in hospital for weeks being weaned off the drugs, l think. To be honest my mother remembers ZILCH but l have done rebirthing and l know that i stopped moving in her womb and they rushed her to hospital and tried to induce her first... then went to C-section. No idea what shows up as drugs or being born early nor almost dying but l do have aries AC (as you know!) IP: Logged |

Thanks for the responses guys Lara - we're lucky we've still got you! BM - yeah, heard the birthing process might be a 5th house thing. I guess I'll just die when I reproduce lol! My 5th house cusp is leo. sun in aqu conj merc, squ ura, opp saturn. GL - that's really interesting. My partner is sco moon and I think his mother was out of it when he was born. amowls - its the Gem asc playing a trick! IP: Logged |

My ex's Mom (Virgo) said both of her sons "came out like a bullets" and they are Aries/Libra. My sis in law (also Virgo) had quick births. Wonder if Mercury ruled women have quick labor?"So all this proves really is my theory that he never listens properly." LOL @ BM 8th IP: Logged |

Eventhough I wasn't delivered through C-section, my twin brother was. He was born 19 minuter after me. I was hospitalized for a month after birth due to a accident with forceps. He was okNo aries connection. Mars was square Uranus and Jupiter, unexpected accidents, hmm IP: Logged |

16 hours of labor exactly on his due date. No drugs for me. Natural vaginal birth. 9 pounds. The only force that got him out was gravity - I was squatting!! IP: Logged |

The Moon is exactly conjunct Black Moon Lilith on my chart, as well as being 3* from Pluto. No problems with my birth, aside from her nearly giving birth in the car. Similar for me and #2, the first was quick as well in both cases. I think this planetary combo must have different significance in our case, I don't think it is about giving birth which we both did easy (luck of the draw, I'm not expecting a medal). Oh, my mother has Aries Moon, btw. Mine is Libra, but like I say Aries on cusp of 5th and 6th. IP: Logged |

Aries Rising here.... I was a long and difficult birth for my Sun/Moon Aries mother.Forceps were used, I was bruised and taken away for 24 hours before my mum could see me. I have a feeling this is why I have a slightly gammy neck. IP: Logged |

Love, Koiflower. Would you happen to know your mum's charts? I think BM's 5th house cusp-sign theory might have something to play with the type of labour the mum was going through. I was looking at a friend's chart. She gave birth to a baby girl last february. Labor was quick, natural, no injury to mum. She has Aries on the 5th. Her mars though is in Tau. I don't know what my mum's rising is (sag, cap or even aries). I suspect she might have tau (or leo) on the 5th, given my permanent lodgment in her. IP: Logged |

Sorry 23, I don't know mum's birth time - wish I did - she is something of an enigma to me. I can never seem to get close to her. Her next three deliveries seem to go as per normal. IP: Logged |
