I'm yet to come to any firm conclusions but note that a better quality mars makes for a more attractive person (eg in aries); a mercurial mars makes for a wittier person and a little less attractive than a firey mars; likeable - mars in libra; stamina - mars in capricorn. A lot of Aries rising have mars in cancer/pisces for some strange reason! They've got a bit of the watery puffiness there.

That's just *some* of the stellium people. Most of the aries risings on astrotheme were stellium people or multiple planet people but I chose the first few that showed up (which happens to be the more famous ones).

I really am out on you. Maybe you might be a leo decanate as you hair shows up rather prominently in the photos (which is what I thought initially). If you look at the people above in the leo decanate, they all have something regal and "hairy" about them.

You might want to look at it but it is quite complicated. In order to determine someone's appearance, you'll have to look at the degree of the asc, almuten, planets in the first, lord of the hour. Unfortunately I don't have a programme that can calculate almuten really fast.

Before I forget, there seems to be the classical theory into appearance which involves:
* Asc, degree, almuten, lord of the hour

The Conventional:
* Asc, degree (decanate), aspects to asc, sign of chart ruler, aspects to chart ruler.

Koiflower - yes, you are right about the decanates. First decanate is always the self sign, followed in chronological of others. This too can be applied not only to the asc but to all the planets in the chart. The decanate a planet will fall in will flavour how the planet acts as well:

I can definitely see the differences between the decanates myself now. Aries decanate look really sheepy, there's something squarish even out them. Leo decanates obviously have a leo flavour about them, hair is prominent, smiles maybe. Something more fixed, resolute, maybe regal. Sagittarius decanate of course have a horsey flavour about them, slightly longer faces, less sharp features (except Peron, maybe Tau sun), but you could for example go up to Ron and Errol and have a joke about something.

Lara - he could be. I'd say he'd be a leo decanate myself (or is it the leo planets I'm picking up on?). The jawline from what I can make of it in the second photo seems high and quite well defined to be aries AC.

Thanks for info Haybelly. Are you saying you are Aries AC with merc one degree away and mars 8 deg away or merc at 1 deg (therefore aries AC at 1 deg), mars at 8 deg?

Whatever is closest to asc will affect the appearance more in my opinion, especially if it is conj with the asc. Stevie Nick has mars in virgo, sun in gem probably giving a much more mercurial flavoured appearance than other Aries AC. Bo Derek is an aries decanate Aries ASC and Darryl Hannah - don't know, yet to study her
