Does anyone know please about transits for days of important events. For example, if you get married does one look for transits in 7th H or aspects to Venus etc? For divorce - is it 8th H transits or pluto aspects? For birth of your child - is it 5th H transits or AC/DC transits or aspects? maybe venus or jupiter or chiron/NN transits to natal? Any help would be great as i'm trying to further myself with this aspect of astrology! Thanks x IP: Logged |

The amazing thing is that for my divorce date: progressed saturn is conjunct EXACT my natal venus and moon! It's bang in the middle of them... It's still on my moon/venus Thank you. I will stick with Placidus then IP: Logged |

Robert Blaschke wrote in his book "Relationship Analysis" that transits from Jupiter to the Arabic Part of Marriage usually mean you're getting hitched at that time. For divorce look for Uranus transits to the same point.

Whole sign house system...equal seems alright too. Just slight differences involving planets changing signs. In equal (rather than whole sign) when a planet changes house, you can note the effect of this in whole sign by that planet aspecting the ASC if using just 30 degree aspects: conjuction, semi-sextile, sextile, square, trine, Quincunx, opposition. When a planet changes sign in whole house system, it also changes house. Which makes them newspaper horoscopes a little more reliable than first thought. For marriage, look at the 7th house ruler in aspect to itself and/or in aspect to the 1st house. Divorce..you look at the 6th house ruler and the 7th house ruler in apsect. Positive aspects for a divorce that goes well and negative aspects for a McCartney/Mills type divorce...the worst kind Why the 6th for divorce? The marriage/relationship is the 7th house, with the 6th house beng the 12th from the 7th house. 12th is all to do with endings, therefore end of the marriage. The 4th house was considered the house of endings, but that was many years ago when people thought the earth was flat. Some people still think this!!!!!!!!!! Birth of child is 5th house. Look for the ruler in aspect to itself and or in aspect to the 1st house ruler. Its when your child (5th) meets you (1st) Solar arcs are better to look at than secondary progressions because SPs dont move that much. Same again, look to 5th and 1st rulers in that. So if I wanted to look at possile pregnant tme for me, 5th ruler is Mercury with 1st ruler being Uranus. In Solar acs, I would look for Mercury aspecting Uranus. Wont all be perfect. IP: Logged |

WOW Kick it - thank YOU! xso solar arcs = solar returns? Ok l will look and see. I had a nasty mills/mcCartney type divorce so l will look for squares/oppositions! I guess the date one walks out of a marriage is significant too. Uranus on AC or something might go there, no? you are too kind... let me know when you get preggers and i'll break open the champagne IP: Logged |

I think aspects to the MC are very important in marriage taking place. You make your love public, it changes your public image, etc. I have a lot of aspects comin to the MC, including Jupiter and Pvenus. My solar return points to this as well (in 2010). My pChart has a grand trine beginning to form that includes: venus, moon, and another planet I can't think of off the top of my head. Also, my pAC will change in late 2009. So maybe. We'll see. Progressed Venus (love, partnerships) on the MC (ego, status, your standing) can trigger a marriage.IP: Logged |

That's what I was thinking. It will be there for some time, too, so it is feasible. I once checked everyone's transits and SR's the time they got married and they all had a lot of aspects to the MC in the SR, as well as transits activating the MC. That's the reason I think the MC can be an indicator. All points in the charts have to confirm this, though. IP: Logged |

Celeste Teal's books Predicting Events with Astrology and Identifying Planetary Triggers: Astrological Techniques for Prediction are two really helpful books on the subject of timing various life events.Look for secondary progression aspects and SA aspects. Then look to the transits to the natal chart and transits to progressions to trigger the actual event. These will also show up in the SR. In marriage years the 3rd house, 9th house and Jupiter maybe involved somehow in the SR return because a marriage is a legal contract. Carol Rushman, Nance McCullough and Noel Tyl also have some helpful books. IP: Logged |

Lara, SA does not = SR.Walk out would be 7th in bad aspect to itself and/or 1st house ruler. You have a disagreement with your partner, but its not over because you are bound by that little piece of paper which says you are married. So if a guy walks out dramatically screaming "its over" you can telll him that its not, until the divorce goes through. Not really looked at SRs IP: Logged |

i looked at both my friends who had babies recently and their SR chart didnt have aspects between 7th and 1st rulers.amanda had moon in 1st trine venus in 5th in SR (moon 5th house ruler natally) Olivia had moon in 5th trine venus in 1st in her SR. The ruler of her natal 5th is the sun and it was conjunct SR ascendant from 12th house 6 deg.
