A friend of mine is driving me absolutely crazy and I often find myself torn between expressing my concern for him and hiding it away because he doesn't appreciate my attempts, to the point where it's just very easy for me to question the reason I bother at all.
It's like a part of me resents him for not understanding my good intentions and another part really wants to understand him but can't.

What really saddens me is that when we are not fighting we really have a lovely connection.
