Hello to all,

Soon I will have my Secondary progressed Mercury (in 6th, conjunct DC) in conjunction with my Natal Mars (in 10th), ruler of my DC.

What that means?

Thank you for any comment.

Buena

If Mercury goes retrograde at any point during your progressions, this could stick with you for a long time. So really the context of your chart is going to be important in how this transpires. The sign is also of some significance.

For example, in my case, retrograde Mars after my birth means the Square with Mercury becomes exact, and its influence will stay with me until I retire. This obliterates the orb rule, is my personal feeling (it is wide on the natal chart), so the Mars/Mercury contact is one I live with on a daily basis.

Mars is the planet of War, Mercury is the planet of Communication. Clashing together they make for aggressive speech, a sharp-tongue, arguments. But also sharp-wit, and motivation to perform intellectual and mental tasks.

Mercury moving around is triggering off your aggressive drives, but also your motivation. In the 10th house, that is suggesting this could be featuring in your working life, and the way you appear in public in the more formal sense.

So if you channel this in some way into your formal and/or working life so that you are making concise and pertinent contributions in your communications that will be great. Avoiding being overly assertive in your opinions might help avoid unnecessary arguments.

It could also have effects on your relationships, as your DSC and ruler of DSC is involved.

Good point.

Again, my chart and my personal failings serve as a case in point. The ruler of my DSC is Venus. It is conjunct Mercury on my chart and also Square Mars. It builds up into a T-Square with the NN and the ASC involved.

In short, there are times to assert your opinions in a sharp and forthright manner, and times when keeping your gob shut is a far better option. I don't always get it right but I am getting better. I try hard at this one.

Of course my husband gets his fair share. "Is it time for my b0llocking?" he will say, if in a good humour.

Hi blue moon,

Thank you for explanations.

Yesterday I have looked my Mercury (in Natal 6th, close to DC).
With 16 years was in square with my Natal Mars:
I have got those pains with never ending story.
With 31 Progressed Mercury was in sextile with Natal Mars:
I have started to work in Tourism (Mercury. Ruler of 9th)

Later was semi-sextile and was nothing.

That means that Secondary Progressions work only if two planets have main aspect in Natal Chart. I have Mercury trine Mars.
I have checked out other Progressions, where are no aspects in the Natal Chart and there has nothing happened.

Much different is if the planet changes the sign:
it was always something very important especially with Sun, Venus and Mercury.

I was curious about 2000 year, why ma pains became worse:
My Secondary Mars has changed the sign, from Leo into Virgo.
Also sign changes from Sun, Mercury and Venus brought very important happenings in my life.

About Mercury becoming Retrograde, I think there won't be during my life.

I am really thankful for your kind answer.

Kind regards,
Buena

Hi darkdreamer,

- It could also have effects on your relationships, as your DSC and ruler of DSC is involved.-

Thank you for that. It wouldn't be bad, because I have no other solution for my pains. I am alone just because of those pains and have lost so much time (and everything else) for research of my health.
I would also like to work somewhere, where is Research Centre for Health (with Medical Astrology - that is very difficult to study, but I am working on that).

Kind regards,
Buena
