Topic: Venus and Mars in Capricorn. Experiences?

Could anyone share any experiences they've had with this combo? I'm currently dating someone who has this position, and some of the words I would use to describe it are: SLOW
PROPER
CONSERVATIVE
CAUTIOUS
RESPECTFUL
OLD FASHIONED
FRUSTRATING We've been dating for 2 months, and the most he has done is hold my hand, and give me a brief kiss. The strange thing is, he's already introduced me to his mother, and whole family. I haven't been intimate with a man for a whole year. What is the female version of blue balls called??? Cause I have it. haha. (Sorry to be crude!) What can I do to get this man to go a little faster?
Any help please?

I have Moon and Mars in Capricorn (not Venus), but Neptune is conjunct Mars in Cap as well, and Neptune is meant to be a higher octave of Venus - close enough lol I'm not really sure how to explain these placements in regards to sex, other than to say that Capricorn is a very mature sign. There is no need for sex. The desire may be there but it is not neediness. I'm not sure he's ever actually had blue balls. I know I haven't (the female version anyways LOL). We can usually take or leave sex (even for years at a time, it doesn't really matter - This is specifically true of Capricorn Mars, since Mars rules sex and Capricorn rules time) There are other considerations that are much more important in life and in a relationship.. so those are things he is probably judging you on and working out whether he can see himself with you. He probably wouldn't get close enough to have sex with you, unless he saw you as - 'sexable' lol For Capricorn sexable = mature, reasonable and not dramatic (amongst other things but those are the most important, I'd say)
Some guys like to make up criteria they don't actually care about, just so they feel in control, whilst secretly liking emotional wrecks.
Capricorn influence doesn't have double agendas on this front.. Capricorn is serious cat - this is serious situation. If you don't also treat it seriously, you're not right for them. IP: Logged |

Someone I know has these conjunct uranus and neptune. This person is completely disrespectful of boundaries and loves to flirt with other people's significant others. I don't want to blame it on astrology because I think there's no excuse for that kind of behavior ever. People simply chose to stay away from this person. However, most people I know with these placements are simply more pragmatic and have high standards and do not express this pattern.IP: Logged |

Thank you for the replies! Yes, they are definitely "responsible" and "serious". Almost parental in a way! haha.I guess there is nothing I can do to move it along, so I will have to follow his pace.

It sounds like he has a thing for you as meeting his parents is a big step.
From what you described, obviously rings true for a Capricorn/Taurus riser, but anything is possible. Maybe post his natal.Have you tried communicating this to him rather than a forum of people?

my ex has venus in cappy and mars in pisces, was a train wreck waiting to happen for me, hopefully better for you! the list you gave is him to a tee. i spent the night with him when we first started dating( a many a night) hoping he was going to make a move. I had to just jump his bones one night out of frustration. I was hoping he would lighten up after that, but never did. Also he couldnt wait to introduce me to his family, they knew all about me by the time i got there, and they were telling me how he thought i was the best thing since sliced bread.
