It has been conjunct my Mercury for a while..and it has forced me to drastically change the way in which I talk with people, how I understand them..and not just by talking..intuition, empathy, other nonverbal cues..I used to have social anxiety really bad, but through work, social situations, new people in my life..I have had to change the way I do things and deal with my shortcomings and misunderstandings. It's been weird, and rough, but totally worth it.

YES! I grew so much when t.Pluto was conjunct my Sun and Neptune.

As Pluto moved through Sag, it moved through my 2nd house. When it got to the later degrees in Sag, I got a better grasp on what I wanted to do professionally. I left behind easier, safer paths to go with what I really love. Pluto helps me better see what's essential to my identity and happiness. It tears down anything that's easy but false, and with Pluto everything except what's essential is false.

Edit: I did have t. Saturn on my MC around the same time though, so Saturn alone could've done that. But I think there's a difference between the two. Saturn wants you to build on solid ground. For your foundation to be honest. Meanwhile, Pluto gets you in touch with who you are at your core. Saturn wants you to know that, and Pluto shows it to you.

Yes, the time Pluto was conjunct my Sun and Mercury on the Galactic centre was one hell of a ride. Exhausting, but I grew so much, personally, and there were such a lot of "coincidence" guiding my way, it was enormous. I feel like I have been born again (or at least I am being born).

I also have been forced to excert some power professionally, as I had to learn to draw limits, so others wouldn´t constantly step over my borders.

i think i blew up the opportunity pluto had to offer. all these years i have only resisted pain and in doing so have built up more pain and shame to live with.

in 2001 i didnt go threw the pain of getting up early and studying or staying awake till late and i secured horrible marks in 12th
in 2001 dad got me admission in engineering.
in 2002 i quit giving reasons of how hard it is to live alone.
in 2003 dad got me admission in BSc
in 2003 itself i quit saying how boring it was to study classical physics and math
in 2004 i got myself a job
i quit in 3 days saying how tough it was to take calls
in 2004 dad again got me admission in engineering upon my request in a college 5 minutes from my home
in 2005 i quit again saying now that i have lost track of my studies i cant concentrate
in 2006 i got my self a call center job again
4 months later i quit at the slightest increase of pressure
in 2007 i rejoined engineering from where i left as it was the only hope for me to get a decent job rather than a call center one
in 2008 during sem 4 i didnt study at all, over confident with my success in sem 3, and when the moment of truth came i crumbled under the pressure and failed again.
this time i got my self a 1 year drop.
now i am living through the drop, still blaming and cursing my parents for what they are, not seeing the truth, not willing to go through the pain.

i think i have completely blown up the evolution pluto promised. i have this one last chance. either i complete engineering in the next 3 years and forget about my 'other great plans' or i screw my self permanently. i think the time has come. its now... or never.

You're honest with yourself and don't make excuses, I'd call that an evolution of it's own type. Pluto in Capricorn might give you some chances to put that learning experience into some kind of structure of which you can be proud.

Hey Ace, don't beat yourself up. Pluto transits are very difficult. My first thought was to run as well, but I couldn't. My situation was such that there was no exit and the only way out was to face the storm. Things are better now, but it's not over yet. You can only apreciate the transformation once the transit is over, but during it's like hell. It's good that you're decided to turn things around, the idea is not to quit no matter how hard it gets. You will understand it after it's over.
Good luck!

PLUTO in Sag was great for me - and I'm sadly watching it leave this sign. Sagittarius is the main-sign in my 1st house (apart from my late Scorpio-Asc.).

While Sag-Pluto wandered through my 1st house I really managed to "come out" with the core of my personality and sort of "grow up" and earn more self-confidence.

Sag-Pluto entered my 1st-house when I was about 26 and will leave now, 12 years later. During this last decade I made enormous progress:

- finished my studies at University with very good marks
- entered a serious relationship (9 years) and learned a lot about "serious bonding" with it
- started my professional career - and changed it completely after the first 5 years, went from "employee" to self-employed
- made a major breakthrough in my perception of "self" (started working as an artist)
- had to revise all of my former perceptions of "love" when I became a "single person" again and was often confronted with heartbreak, desillusions, betrayal
- moved to another town, started to invest more into my real personal interests (such as astrology and music)

Major Pluto-transits I had during that time:

Pluto square Venus: Entered this long lasting relationship - got betrayed in the beginning - had to learn about "forgiveness" and "tolerance" and how to deal with interpersonal disappointments - but I stuck to this relationship, despite of the hurt - and we had 7 more beautiful years with each other - until it was me who left this man (due to other reasons)

Pluto trine Mercury: Entering my professional life, dealing with words, intellect, writing - earning nice rewards in that field and developing "my own style", growing self-sonfidence in intellectual matters

Pluto sextile Uranus: Changing my living place frequently, re-inventing myself as a professional person, gathering new ideas and insights, the growing feeling that "the world is my oyster", coming to terms (and starting to appreciate) my own individuality - also: coming out of my shell, being more openminded, courageous and started to live out my adventurous sides - I really shook off that humble, shy and pessimistic "teenager-personality" I used to be until in my early teens... (I HATED being a teenager!!!)

Pluto trine Chiron: earning a lot of praise for my work and all, further emancipating myself from my parents/family and their way of living and from their expectations - again a strong boost in self-confidence and "lust for life"

Pluto square Vesta: BAD! MEAN! AGGRAVATING! Haha. That was the time when I started feeling that I had to leave the "employed" state and take one step further: to work as a self-employed person, leave the conservative career behing me ... two VERY stressful years for me, until I had settled in that new way ... identity crisis, torn between fears and lust to move on ...

Pluto sextile Cupido: First, vague ideas of a different kind of a partner ... After several years coupled up with my long time love ... I started wondering whether "this is it" ... or whether I was the type for a dirfferent kind of love. My mind ... started straying, I must admit. I developed strong fantasies on a more intense, more wild love ... But at first: Only in my mind.
After about a year under Pluto-sextile-Cupido-influence I brought it into the open: I left my boyfriend after nine years - not because there was someone new for me - but because I felt that my love and passion had died ... and I decided to rather be free and see what else life had in store for me, love-wise.

Pluto conjunct Moon and trine BM Lilith at the same time: I started into my Single-Life ... and experienced a lot of up and downs then ... fell in love several times (only lightly) ... started an affair in which I hurted someone badly ... re-discovered my own sexuality ... negelected my professional life in favour for many (!) private adventures, light drugs and a lot of nightlife included - exhausting! Like a second "puberty" to me - but this time: WILD! (not as humble as in my teen years...)

Pluto square Pluto and sextiling my Jupiter:
Volatile times, many adventures, many (!) new people coming into my life, all a bit rush, constantly re-thinking my personal and professional endeavours, stressful, but interesting - time was rushing by, breathless, "gathering life experience" in a very quick, sometimes shocking way - some professional hopes shattered, my self-confidence weakended ... or over-estimated ... "rumblin/ramblin" times; also: my financial situation was shook up completely (unfortunately not in positive ways...)

Pluto trine Ceres (just lately - and will come back soon): Fell in love deeply with a man - for the first time again, after 3 years of being a "single-person"; had the strong impulse to "bond" again, to "merge" with a person again ... And got disappointed badly. BUT: I also learned a lot about my perception of myself as a "woman" and potential partner to a man (the kind of "female partner" I want to be).

Actually, these have been very packed, adventurous and vivid years!!! I am a bit afraid ... that Pluto in Capricorn ... will make things more "stalemate". Luckily, Capricorn is of cardinal quality, at least. So ... SOMETHING will move under this influence, I hope.

Hey ACE: Woe! All these conjunctions from tr. Pluto to your personal planets must have worked like a huge PERSONALITY-BOOST!!! ;-) Your personal strength must have grown enormously lately ... right?

But what happened under tr. Pluto suqaring your ASC? Can you share some real-life-examples (episodes)?

all these plants are conjuct each other in sag and square my asc at the same time. so it all happen around the same time. within a period of say 4 years. i was devastated. i felt challenged. my ego, my spirit, my optimism, even my worth and my purpose in life felt challenged. i am still not sure if i have evolved or not. what i can say for sure is the time thought me to handle my self. i often contemplated suicide. the emotional stress and turmoil was so immense that i had give up... well almost. thankfully i had with me my psychiatrist to give me the right medication.

although i do feel i could have done more to keep my self fighting fit rather than crumble, like exercise and do yoga as my psychiatrist had recommended. but if i am to relive the moment, i doubt all that pro-activeness would had been possible.

am i scaring you? i dont mean too. remember there are some saggies i know who have done exceptionally well in the years of pluto pressure.

just remember, keep the faith, trust the process.

I hated Pluto in Sag. From 1995/11996, my life took a dark and devious turn and since then, the dark spiral gained momentum until I almost killed myself or until I got killed. I am sick of Pluto in Sag.

Pluto in Cap will have its challenges and I might want to hang myself here too but... at least the reasons to kill myself will be different. I need a change now; a different type of suffering and Pluto in Cap promises to deliver.

During Pluto in Sag:
Pluto(2nd) conj Uranus (2nd)
Pluto " Square Venus (11th)
Pluto " sextile Mercury (12th)
Pluto " sextile Saturn (12th)
Pluto " sextile Pluto (12th)
Pluto " conj Neptune (12th)
Pluto " square Sun (11th)

The sextiles didn't do anything fabulous because they activated that 12th House and made me more introspective than I am usually. I became a intense loner, and that's when my my pal, RAGE was born (supressed of course otherwise it wouldn't be a 12th house experience). I mean... Slipknot, Ramstein and Type O Negative became one of my favorite bands during this time.

What I have to look forward to from November 2008 until 2024(right?) is...

Pluto in Cap
Pluto(3rd) sextile Asc
Pluto conj IC
Pluto conj SN (4th)
Pluto " sextile Jupiter (1st)
Pluto " square Mercury (12th)
Pluto " square Saturn (12th)
Pluto " square Pluto (12th)
Pluto " sextile Mars (1st)
Pluto " sextile Eros (1st)
Pluto " sextile Uranus (1st)
Pluto " opposite Moon (10th)
Pluto " opposite MC
Pluto " opposite NN (9th)
Pluto " trine Sun (11th)
Pluto " trine Venus (11th)
Pluto " trine PoF (11th)
Pluto " trine Chiron (7th)

Joy!

And... a Saturn Return will be in the mix too. Personally, Saturn is more of the man to watch, not Pluto.
