Oh I also forgot to mention my physical health in relation to my current Saturn transits. Saturn rules the bones of course, and I've been dealing with a back injury for the past year. I'm having Saturn square Venus, and Venus rules my 6th house and is actually IN my 6th house as well - so, some definite health issues. With Saturn opposing my Mars I feel that the injury restricts my physical movement (well, it actually does) and when I have pain it drains me of my vitality. As I said, I do everything I can to remain positive as I know this is also important for my healing - but my moods go up and down because it's very depressing when you're dealing with ongoing physical pain and discomfort and it does get you down. The thing about this whole chapter in my life though, is that it SHOULD have been a fairly quick (well, average) recovery time - but instead, it's been a year of setback after setback. It's been at least a couple of times where I've felt like I was finally over it (and was even told so by both my therapists), only to have something go wrong and then need another couple of months' recovery all over again! That's the place I'm in right now, actually. I've been in physical discomfort for the past two months and am having a return of old worse symptoms, because of some stupid little incident! I can't begin to tell you how frustrating it is. And Saturn moves so slowly, that it's like an endurance test that continues LONG after you think you should have won. Today I feel like I don't know what it is to feel physically good anymore.

BTW. I just checked out the exact time period of my Saturn return. It's so strange, because at that time NOTHING was bad. My natal Saturn is in my 7th house, and I was in a very stable and happy relationship. Ironically we broke up (after five years) just at the time when Saturn finally moved out of orb of my natal Saturn. Part of it was that I felt that the relationship had become too staid and not exciting enough for me. It doesn't even seem to make sense!

Xena – I vaguely remember someone with that very same transit – tPluto opp nMars. I think the message is to be on the alert. Keep yourself safe. Be aware of safety issues surrounding clumsiness and even other people’s actions.

Saturn conjunct your Ascendent, I imagine to be austere in nature. In synastry, the Saturn person can have an overbearing effect of the Ascendent person. In transits, I think it’s a time to go easy on yourself. To not get down on yourself, but to develop self-confidence. Loneliness is unnatural…!!! I’m sure we are not meant to be lonely – but a surprising amount of people are lonely – even when they are with someone.

Hey, I wonder if Saturn works by bearing down on the issue that we have at the time and forces us to do something about it. What connection can you make about being lonely and Saturn’s arrival? What do you think you can do to ease your loneliness?

Alvarella!!! – heeeyyyy, just read your thread. It made me chuckle! You’re such a card

quote:
Well ...I couldn't refrain from taking a look at the upcoming transits to his natal chart - and I saw a lot of not-so-nice-things coming up for him, like: Saturn oppos. his natal Saturn / Saturn cj. his natal Pluto / Saturn opposing his natal Chiron / Saturn opposing his natal Eros / Saturn squaring his natal MC / Neptune opposing his natal Sun/ all of these for a looooong while, beginning right now, lasting until next summer.

What you wish for, for him will belong to me!!!!! AND you’re still not 100% over him… How cute to be checking for his upcoming transits. Yes, feel satisfied that he probably is having a very interesting karmic experience right now!! In fact, being the nasty evil person that he is (and you didn’t deserve him), he is probably feeling empty and soul-less and left with only memories of a wonderful woman who gave him her warm and caring heart. Those memories are just gonna make it hurt more for him [hehehe, wicked laugh].

I dwell on your insight at times, comparing myself with evil astro twin. I even try to imagine the ‘revenge’ and ‘manipulation’ idea. I don’t think I do ‘revenge’ well. But I move in faith on natural justice – karma. My position at work has been unfair and caused some stress this year. It was even pointed out by a visiting ‘superior’ in our dept. I don’t do ‘unfairness’ well either, due to my moralistic, idealistic, justice-seeking Virgo/Libra/Sagittarius personal planets. ‘Manipulation’? I tend to be easily manipulated. I am such a push-over!!! Gullible, too. That’s muggins me!!

....continued...

I really wonder about higher octaves at work when I compare your ex and myself. We are certainly different. An over balance of ying and yan, perhaps. What has made him so hurtful and nasty. What is his moon sign?

Back to your statement on doing research on power issues. There is one at work with my boss. This is another thread I would love to post if I can find out where she was born by Friday (then we are on holidays for 2 weeks). I don’t do power issues very well either!!! I must be a wet blanket..!! But my boss sure can dampen my Leo spirit.

Hey, maybe you have a point with the Uranus opposite Saturn being a self-love lesson. It seems that no matter what happens to me, I always look at myself and say “I have me. I have my integrity. No-one can take that away from me”. Moon in Sagittarius is always there to offer that extreme positivity.

Thank you so much for being there once again. I find it fascinating that you were in love with someone who shares so much in common with me and yet, seems so different. I wonder if we will ever discover similarities between him and me!!

Sunshine lion – how’s your tummy doing? I hope you’re feeling better. The stomach holds emotions and you’re going through a difficult test of your emotions at the moment. It’s right there, manifesting in your belly!

You know something, you blew me away with your depth of heart, caring and wisdom in your email. You’re a special person! If your man is anything, he’ll be wanting to hang around to touch your soul forever. What is your Moon sign, my friend?

GemLover - thank you so much for the utube!!! Very cute, boppy and disco!!

Interesting note on ‘bones’. I can apply this issue as well. Will discuss tomorrow! Do you have Taurean anywhere?

GemLover, haybelly, artemisss, bvanzy – I still have things to say, but the time flies. It’s late and it’s time to get ready for work – drat! I really want to post a reply to you all. Will be back tomorrow!!

Haybelly – what are your astro details?

Love to you all…

Koiflower, glad you liked the video. It's cheesey but just so "up"! I think that while these transits are difficult times, we have to do everything we can to make it less bad, because it's the only way to get through it and still keep our sanity.

Yes, I'm a Taurus sun and Mercury...

I said everyone is against me and look, someone took my reply off of the post
"the successful but loney goat" Why? I did not say anything negative, I just think everyone is out to get me, make me mad or upset. I hate saturn.

Moon in Sagittarius is always there to offer that extreme positivity.

There we go - we're both sailing on the same emotional wavelength (me Sag-Moon too, and most of all my female friends are Sags and so on ...).

The way your reflect upon your Saturn-topics really tells that you HAVE dealt with these ... Grrr - I know that such a repating pattern can be annoying, like a personal astrological "curse" to be confronted over and over again.

With me, it is not so much transiting Saturn, that keeps worrying me, but transits to my natal Saturn!!!

My personal, ALLTIME-Saturn-paradox is: it forms a quincunx to my Cupido! Both are ruled by Venus (Saturn in Taurus/6th, Cupido in Libra/11th) - but whenever one of these is transited in a "positive way", the other gets a hard transit - like: Venus is sextiling my Cupido - which sounds great! But at the same time will be squaring my Saturn! So, my personal Saturn often acts like a "wet blanket" to my romantic fun, so to speak. And this something I will NEVER get rid off, since it is engrained in my natal chart FOREVER!!!

SO: Hold your head up high and stay as awake abd vivid as we know you!;-)

koi- my astro details....hmmmmm good question, I am just understanding a few things like aspects and I almost have conjuct, trine, square and opposition down.

Really, I look at my chart and see a bunch of lines crisscrossing each other and symbols around the edge. I only charge 25.00 for a reading totally kidding!
I just like it here because I liked all of Linda's books and though this would be the place for alternative thinking, which I like.

But I have a lot of pisces and planets in my 11th house. I've got pluto and uranus in virgo and venus in aquarius and obviously something bad in my 5th house because I am not getting pregnant. Oh yeah, I think I know about a couple of houses too now, and some of the symbols.

I'm learning, it's fun!

oh bad, jupiter in gemini in the second house, even the optomistic interpretation says nicely this is not a good placement.

I want a do over

sunshine lion – see my post on your accident thread!! xox

haybelly – Jupiter in Gemini is pretty good for intellectual pursuits! I think Jupiter is in either its detriment or fall, but don’t let that put you off. Jupiter in Gemini is a bonus when it comes to communication, writing, getting messages to and from others, gathering and retaining knowledge, knowing a little about a lot!!! The only thing to watch is that you don’t become aloof because you know a lot where others may not.

Being in your second house I think is probably lucky!! You have the potential to work out how to make a lot of money if you’re able to focus clearly on a goal!!

Here’s a website where a group of astrologers explain Pluto’s relationship to children (5th House) if you are wanting to gather information about fertility issues. Keep and open mind, though. It does go into and beyond psycho analysis!!!

GemLover –

quote:
Currently it's squaring my Venus (I feel lonely and unloved)

When I read this, I saw an image of Taurus and I felt a feeling of sensuality. I got thinking about this and thought that Taureans, being so sensual, probably love to touch and be touched. How would a person who craves touch solve this issue with someone who is not aware of it?

I pictured the Taurean sitting real close to the other person, so that their arms touched, and not making a big deal of it, but let it linger. Then doing this periodically, so that the person became more receptive to the touch. That’s all I saw with this image.

Saturn is a bit of a taskmaster in your life!!! Saturn must be expecting some pretty big things from you to constantly be on your case. When Saturn is square your Venus and opposite your Mars and then it moves in aspect to these two, there will always be a square somewhere!!!! So what’s your destiny all about??? (Probably making people happy, like when you posted the music video clip )

I’m sorry to hear about your back. Pain can really wear a person down and take away a big part of their quality of life. I hope your therapy will help. I’ll take a look in Saturn’s relationship to bones. For the last 4 weeks, an old injury has surfaced. I think the flu found that weak spot and now I’m paying the price. If the endodontist can’t fix it, I’m looking at an exorbitant price to repair the damage. (Paying the price for someone else’s neglect).

deuxantares – I think I would rather have Saturn square than Pluto!!! That’s the price we pay for having a stellium. It may be exciting have a “super-fused planet”, but when the power planets hit, they hit HARD!!!!! Your stellium seems like a great one to have in regard to relationships – except in those ‘square’ moments LOL…!!!

artemisss and bvanzy – wow! I found this for you on cafeastrolgy.com for transiting Saturn squaring your Chiron:

quote:
People in authority - bosses, executives, or parental figures - may demonstrate prudish, overly conservative, or disrespectful behavior towards you. Others may judge your personal or work habits and be fault-finding or make critical remarks which hurt your feelings. You may be told to "clean up your act" or to adopt a more responsible and serious attitude toward your duties and obligations. Problems with a parental or father figure might have you dealing with old, painful issues which resurface now. If you want to keep a certain amount of security and stability in your life, you may have to discipline yourself to handle pressures, demands, or responsibilities and situations which you find unpleasant.

artemisss -You must be on the right track, albeit a painful one, in letting these people go.

bvanzy – I just love this expression:

quote:
...come out of the tumbler polished or crushed.

One thing I have learned from Saturn's transits, is that sharing it with friends eases the burden and adds a ray of sunshine to ones life......

Wow Koiflower! How do you know this stuff? Good guesses, or good intuition?!! Everything you said relating to the Taurus image is 100% spot on and I've been thinking a lot about those very things. Hmm. What you said is actually very helpful!

My destiny... well I do feel like I'm here in some way to help other people and make people happy. It's my Sag rising and NN in Sag!

Thanks. I seem to be doing quite well, or at least a lot better at the moment, as someone is sending me 7 days' of kundalini reiki. I'm also focusing on my breath so that I can take in more prana, and that seems to work just magically! I'm thinking that the more 'energetic' therapy I can get and also give to myself, the easier the whole process will be and I can hopefully minimise the need for physical therapy. Sorry to hear about your old injury coming back! I can most definitely sympathise with any pain and injury issues.

You're right though that sharing our Saturn issues does help to ease the burden!

GemLover - it's quite weird - that's the image I got when I read that. I can't say that I'm highly intuitive or even a visionary. On a scale of 1-10, I'd be 1.5

But on the odd occassion, I do get a clear vision like a movie going on in my head. It's clear and feels real. It's these moments, I take note and have faith that I'm being shown something.

I felt "Taurean" and "sensual" when I read your statement and then saw the vision.

Life is quite bizarre at times!
