I was hanging out with my (very hot) Scorpio friend the other night. We are just platonic friends, but we were sitting in the movie and I felt like he was TRYING to get me to touch him, even though he wasn't doing anything. I felt like he was hitting me with magnetic waves or something. At one point, I put my hand on his arm to whisper something into his ear, and he put his hand over mine and sort of embraced me. It felt like we were melting into each other and I was being engulfed. The way it happened was so fast and overwhelming, like I was diving into water. I was very turned on, and I pulled away gently, because I really want to ressurect our friendship, which got off to a good start but then got all complicated because of weird energy, and also, he is toying with me. (Except he is a loyal supporter of my work and he can be a really good friend. When we aren't having preteen-style sparring, he gets me.) I had this image of myself as a fly flailing in a spiderweb.Anyway, I didn't think much of it. As anyone who reads my posts here knows: a) I am really bad at reading Scorpio signals, b) I got my heart broken recently and am vulnerable and c) I am horny and a little lonely, and d) and a teeny weeny bit desperate, for a Leo. I was thinking maybe I was just "reading" my attraction to him as coming from him. BUT, later, we were hanging out and he started talking about how he was trying to do that! The weird sonar waves were not my imagination! He was sitting there DOING something all Scorpionic, on purpose. I think you'd have to look at his Mars and Venus signs. Because it was aggressive actualisation on his part, it would be his Mars sign that he activated to get you. Of course, everything in us would be activated in trying to get someone (esp Sun for he is a male and it is his primary ego) but look at Venus and Mars.This is a link on another thread I posted earlier that shows how we use our Mars or Venus:

Note: he's a Scorp Sun/ Sag moon. The Scorp Sun means he uses the weird sonar. The Sag moon means he happily blabs about it in the bar later! I'm a Leo Sun/ Cancer Moon. When I want to be alluring, I make an entrance. It's almost like a little lightswitch inside me that I can turn off or on. (That same Scorpio friend says I "shine." I think I need to change my bulb.) He and I both have Mars in Virgo. But I actually tend to think the Sun Sign says more about seduction style or how you attract people than any other aspect. At least that seems true in my experience of looking at people's charts.In my case, my flirting/seduction style is totally Leonine, even though I have Mars Virgo/Venus Cancer. My way of thinking about it deep inside is kind of Cancerian, though. IP: Logged |

I don't know, I don't tend to look at Moon at the first bits of attraction. The Moon is very important because really its our soul and maybe used when we are trying to reveal our soul. So with your friend, his Moon revealed what was happening because he is friends to you and revealed part of his ego (Sun ) to you and because you have aspects to his Sun from your planets. What is his Venus and Mars? Do you know? Or did he solely use his Sun to muscle in on you? (Btw interesting Sun-Moon dynamics you have there).IP: Logged |

Well with Mars in Virgo he probably was very attentive to details in the past and maybe observed you closely and thought he'd try it out. Also because you have Mars in the same sign, he knows or instinctively knows that you like that in a guy. But yes, Sun is still important as it is who we are really esp in a man. IP: Logged |

23, that sounds right.I've never seen his chart, but he told me once he has a Mars-Venus conjunction in Virgo. I don't know, though--he is certainly not detail-oriented. He's more typically Scorpionic that way--he loves to psychoanalyze himself and others. (I do too, with an 8th house solar stellium.) I guess that could be seen as analytic, but I feel like Scorpio and Virgo analysis styles are very different. When I first met him, I guessed that he was a Sag Sun, and I was shocked (and horrified!) to find he was a Scorpio Sun. Not at all surprised by the Sag moon. IP: Logged |

Well he was in effect doing an experiment on you I think  Using the conjunction there But I'm sure the Sco sun was involved too. When I flirt, I use my Venus and Mars myself. It's hard to separate what comes from where though as Venus is in Sag, Mars in Gemini, both mutable. Humour and teasing - Sag, Word play and wit - Gemini. Actually you just reminded me of my early courtship days with my partner, I used to have sword fights with umbrellas (Venus in Sag) and on the first date, before I even knew astrology, I played with his hands. (It describes my Virgo guy friend perfectly, though.) When I'm around the Scorp, I always feel unsettled and very excited. And he's pretty frenetic, especially for a Scorpio (more like a Sag), striding around and changing his mind fast. He attracts people to him everywhere, but they get nervous around him. He's very, very wild and spontaneous. The Scorp part (driven, shrewd, control-obsessed) didn't show up till I got to know him a little better. IP: Logged |

I know that he badly wants me to intellectually respect him and see him as my equal that way, and to see him as a powerful man instead of a hot boy toy. So he's using what tools he has in his arsenal. Also, he doesn't understand that I'm insecure about men right now, or how vulnerable I feel. I've tried to let him know, but he doesn't believe me. He thinks I could have anyone I want. He talks to me about the lovely young things who throw themselves at him all the time, but then he gets mad if I talk about my own love life. IP: Logged |

I've never seen his chart (and don't have his birth info), so all I know is those aspects he told me. Also, he said that all his planets are clustered in one section of his chart. It would be sooo interesting to see our synastry. My guess is that we have criss-crossed Sun-Moon trines and maybe a Mars conjunction.I'm Capricorn rising. IP: Logged |

Sounds exactly like a Leo with Mars in Virgo, Sco rising I knew - the talk of his endless relationships, the jealousy about anything to do with me. Look I think the intellectual respect issue comes from his Sag Moon, he wants you to see his soul. I still think that he might be interested in you, he obviously is hanging around and illiciting physical interaction with you (Mars); maybe there is something in your demeanour that he sees as strong, it could be your pround Leo Sun that can't see the wounds. Hmmm, I think it might be the Virgo Mars, the ambivalent nature. The Leo guy that I knew would do that to me as well. I think he is constantly analysing and testing you to make sure that you know he's "perfect" in your eyes (Virgo influence, esp Virgo Venus). IP: Logged |
