Today - rainy outside but I have a free day as I'm not going to work until tomorrow, and I rescheduled a couple of meetings for today until other days, so I'm going to collect holiday photos and go out for lunch to a nice place with a loved one.

It's quite dark outside despite being late morning - but then it is becoming autumn and this is Scotland. In France I got suntanned only a week ago. I'm remembering it. I used to think it was a myth that such short distances could make such a difference in weather and mood.

I am worried about the weekend because I have to help prepare a mentally disabled acting group for their first performance on stage for Tuesday and Wednesday nights next week. I don't know how it will be.

But on the whole, I think I am feeling really very positive. Looking forward to Thursday night heaps because I'm getting together with lots of people I feel a great connection with.

How about you?

Is it Mercury Retrograde?

I have work to do here, research, but it is proving to be quite frustrating. Not hopeless, but I feel like I am ploughing through treacle.

Hence the frequent breaks onto Lindaland, which is temptingly interesting this morning. Maybe it will help sharpen my mind.

It may be significant that Neptune is currently Square my Mercury. It won't sod off until Christmas.

Today - Beautiful sunny spring day outside - inside not so good - internal storms & fluctuating moods due to arguments etc but just like mighty mouse lindaland has lightened the atmosphere considerably, It is school holidays for my son so it's sleeping in time & fun lazy days ahead....aaahhhhh. I only work 1 day per week so the grindstone isn't so bad for me.

I'm about 10 hours away from you and we had overcast all day today. Yes, thank goodness for the school holidays. I get to sleep in. Except for this morning. For some reason I scheduled a doctor's appointment for first thing this morning - not realising the date - thinking I could have my son back at school before anything serious started. Well, won't be doing that again! What's this thing about learning the hard way! I prefer the easy way, thanks.

It's piddling down outside and two people have just had a bump in their cars and are screaming at each other. I'm deliberating whether to brave a walk into town to take back a jacket that I bought, but it's not a nice day at all, but I need the money back to buy a winter coat that I have just seen.... Vanity will probably rule the day. Well, the sun is in Libra eh?!

PeaceAngel, So sorry to hear about your overcast day! & the lateness of my reply. As for what you did ie; Dr's appointment, in my opinion you were just being a good mummy organizing the kids with maximum efficiency, you just outsmarted yourself is all, trust me I have done it a few times myself oh & I live in Lugarno I just put Sydney for international users as everyone knows where Sydney is right?

Well, they bloody well should. I love Sydney. I think it's somewhere that everyone should visit in their lifetime. Great city. Great people. The best times.

Oh, I'm just grumpy today - well not really - I don't really get grumpy - I get angry - but I'm one of those annoying people that's always cheery and has some funny line to offer. Just naturally high. But I'm under the weather and have lost my voice so this morning while driving my son to the doctor I kept thinking, well, I'm the one that's sick and on my way to a doctor that I won't get to see and I'd just rather be in bed. Sounds like a sad case of self-pity in retrospect. LOL.

It should be written in stone that one of the first duties for all mothers is to have more sleep. Where is God? Clearly a man with all these absurd rules. I want to be God for a day. Unleash me.

Sounds fair to me & hey you did better than I would have. unless said child was bleeding or close to death I would have marched them off to bed & rescheduled the Dr. When I am sick & am a grumbly grumbly bear - Do not feed - Do not make eye contact - walk slowly & make no sudden noises. So you be grumbly grouchy & damn right irascible, I'm right behind you.........at a safe distance

LOL - yeah - i'm the same - i snap when I'm sick (which is really uncharacteristic normally). As you said - keep your distance. I have Mars in Taurus so I take a while to anger - but when I finally do - it's quite epic. It' quite a site. Actually - that would be an interesting thread.

Its a bright and sunny day. I dont have to work today so i think im going to take my notebook to the park maybe try to get some writing done. There is a poem resting at the tip of my fingers and its dying to dance its way out! Even though its bright and sunny outside there are a few clouds pressed firmly against my soul leaving a shadow of sadness. Like a true libra i feel a balance of happiness and sadness. One does not out weigh the other.
