my south node is in leo. what i have already attained is having an affinity with children. as i worked with children in past lives. and i am naturally at home with children. and know how to have fun with children and creativity. a good book is jan spillers book on soul astrology with an indepth look at north nodes that takes into account past lives south nodes.i read posts on jan spillers book soul astrology i think in this forum or another linda-goodman.com forum.

Mine is 11th house Cancer and BML conjuncts my NN. I appreciate all those whose posted about their similar predicament. I've gained some valuable insights.

Also, I am fairly new as a poster here, but I've read many awesome threads on these boards. This is an absolute GOLDMINE of information. THANK YOU!

Makes sense. Think I failed on that last bit, tho. My sn conj ixion, which I take to mean that despite numerous opportunities, I am destined to repeat the same mistake over and over. And this is supposedly where I feel "comfy". I can def see how this is playing out already. Fml.

Dragon's tail in Virgo house 12 conjunct the planetoid Pluto. I always thought it was a weird placement because it's opposite the house Virgo traditionally rules, house 6 yet it is in the sign Virgo. Not sure what all this confusion means but can't be good. I think it just means expect the unexpected, sudden reversals of fortune, topsey-turvey life which have all been true so far.

I have South node in Cancer in 10th conj Saturn, North node in Cap in 4th. So my nodes are weirdly balanced by being in opposite houses to their sign placements.

While I have struggled with apathy (south node) I do well in my corporate career (which has to do with real estate) but my eventual career is to buy/renovate my own homes. Somehow, even though I work for a large company, I have long worked from home.

With Saturn and South node in Cancer, family has always been tough for me - I left home to be on my own very early. My way of coping has been to be very independent and rational about the situation.

I do find that I am a very nodal person and nodal transits and returns seem to really affect me. ;}

how do you observe this past life inclinations reflect in your present?
I have read a lot about aquarius NN in 12H, that you should start getting broader picture, having more empathy, learning humility, act for greater good, but at the same time you should relax from work, be more spiritual, all into mystical stuff... it is a bit paradoxical, don't you think.. because aquarius is all about action, changing the world, pisces (12H natural ruler)is about serving..I think you can't have that without work discipline..
what about leo traits? have any?

South Node in Leo, where I have my Sun as well. Yeah. All my life, it's been really hard for me not to end up putting all of my self-worth into what the group thought of me. It's tough to accept the never-ending need for approval. I occasionally think, "Damn, you're too old for that! You should've been over that already." It's just so easy to fall back upon wanting to do what other people want. :| And yeah, not getting a "thank you" for hard work or something I'm very proud of hurts.

I'm working hard on trying to be more detached and put the benefit of a group first, though. And creativity!! My PoF is also in the fifth, and I love it. Children are definitely one of my dreams, I'd love to be a mother when I get older! It's not perfect, though, I've actually had my worst disappointments in any creative project. My stuff just never stands out, no matter what I do and how much I enjoy making it. I also have Venus quincunx North Node, which is... idk, still trying to figure that one out.

As it's an axis I should metion that Aqua Mars is Conjunct my North Node. So, hence Opposite my South Node. As for Leo Mars, his Sun/Saturn Conjunction is conjunct my Mars, but a bit wide for conjunction to NN.

My South Node is in my house of friendships (11) and I have never ever had a best friend. I have acquaintances but no best friend. I have had friends stab me in the back... so maybe that's why I've never been actively seeking a best friend. I am happy with casual acquintances. I have had several friend try to become close to me, but I push them back and keep them at a distance. I also have Aquarius 11th house so not sure which one would cause that.

In my 11th and I've never had a lot of friends, in fact they are ALL more acquintences not true friends. I make friends but if I move away or take a new job, I fail to keep in touch and the friendship dies. I also have Aqua. on my 11th. I also think my lack of the warmth that's needed for friendship is lacking in me. If someone reaches out to hug me I tend to step backwards... I'm learning not to do that but it is something I have to conquer.
I truly do not yearn for friends either because my husband is my best friend and we do everything together so my life has no room for close friends.

South Node in Twelfth House, conjunct Hera. My spirituality is important to me, I daydream so much it's like I'm never here, and even a bit of constructive critisism upsets me a lot. ^__^' I also read that peoplw with it here brought psychic ability with the into this life from a previous one, but I'm not so sure about that.

The South Node and North Node need to be balanced. One needs to be explored and birthed (the NN) while the other is not to be forgotten and still used with awareness (the SN). You are all going to drive yourselves crazy if you think it's one or the other. IT's not- IT's both.
