Does anyone else share a Moon/Neptune aspect? Any thoughts on this? There is one I know, being of the same vintage as my good self. I have Moon Sextile Neptune. It's not an aspect I have ever thought about much as an individual, as it ties in with Jupiter, Saturn and Pluto. The big players have tended to dominate my thoughts on this one, maybe I should give it some time of it's own.
quote:
The sextile aspect poses less ambiguous problems than the conjunction, and you should find that this aspect is more comfortable and allows the releasing of your potential more easily. There will be the qualities of imagination, psychic and empathic sensitivity which are present in Moon-Neptune contacts, but these are clearer with the sextile and less liable to distortion through personal and outer perceptions.
http://www.astrologyweekly.com/astrological-aspects/moon-sextile-neptune.php Any tendencies tend to be submerged by the heavy players Pluto (in conjunction) and Saturn (in trine) on my chart. It's in hidden inside. The interesting thing about the analysis above is it makes me realise why I get irritated sometimes when people seem to get submerged in their emotions and empathy. I don't show it though, but if I am being honest that is sometimes my reaction. Maybe it isn't just my heavily air/earth chart.

You've not irritated me, not yet anyway. I neglected to mention my son has the Opposition. He doesn't irritate me either. My mother doesn't have Moon and Neptune in contact. But. Moon/Neptune ~ I think Michael Hutchence and Paula Yates both had the Conjunction and I think they had a synastry conjunction as well. But I could be wrong with that. IP: Logged |

I have Moon quintile Neptune.I'm not sure how great an impact it is upon me. Cafeastrology offers this: Moon Quintile or Bi-Quintile Neptune: You have a very creative imagination. You appreciate imaginative stories, arts, and music. Your dreams may be vivid. Art or music is a good outlet for you, either by creating the works yourself or appreciating the work of others. Which is very accurate for me. IP: Logged |

quote: Moon quintile Neptune You have a gift for supporting and nurturing dreams and spiritual experiences in yourself and others. You are highly intuitive, possibly empathic if water signs are emphasized. You may be a gifted poet or musician, you give sensitive and poignant expression to emotions. You may be consciously attuned to a very cosmic level of awareness.

bmWow - thanks for that - awesome. Interesting about your son. My son and I are very very alike. I'll have to check out our aspects. I've never done that. I've looked at natal and synastry but not at similar placements. We both have Aqua Moons but that's as far as that's gone. You've given me food for thought. IP: Logged |

I have Moon and NEptune conjunct each other and my MC. I have this pedestal I put some people on only to have them taken down once I manage to discover my own illusions about them. That aside, my relationship with my mother is pretty important to me. I have this constant deafening fear of disappointing her. http://www.astrologyweekly.com/astrological-aspects/moon-conjunct-neptune.php I'm not really that sensitive. My moon is in capricorn. But really most of the time I just don't admit the things that hurt me the most. I'm a great listener for all my friends but I don't share personal experience which might be why some of my friendships aren't working. As the text above says, I don't think I could handle a routine. I'm a huge daydreamer or maybe just addicted to running from the painful reality . about that text above, this sentence is no doubt the most true one "turning men or women into gods or goddesses is a dangerous game; they always fall off the pedestal that you have placed them on." They always fall off and it's such a painful process. But somehow this position makes it impossible to settle for mediocrity anything. IP: Logged |

Moon opposite Neptune here (5th/11th) I see so many people with this aspect who deal with addictions of one kind or another and it is more pronounced when it falls in a water house. In this respect it is very similar to the Moon in Pisces, wishing to escape or just not deal with the mundane. Been there, done that. IP: Logged |

I have Moon Trine Neptune, Moon in the end of 2nd House so might be in 3rd or 2nd house and my Neptune is in the 10th.I'm a cancer sun so the Moon is my reflexive self and a Pisces rising so Neptune rules my chart. I have vivid dreams, sometimes they feel so real I can't tell reality from dreams. 'Sleeping to Dream'. I can analyse my dreams pretty well too, as if my emotions are played out in my dreams and I just need to interpret them. I function on an intuitive level, sometimes I can also see the air moving. It's a very synesthetic experience. Sometimes I see people in terms of shapes and patterns, like jagged edges or black velvet or jelly seats. I realise this passage describes it well, "As there is a tendency towards environmental hypersensitivity, you need to discover a way of response that allows you to use this perception in creative ways, through revealing to others this more subtle amd perhaps hidden invisible dimension of life, so that they too can appreciate and contact the vitalising, uplifting and inspirational quality of the inner realms." *cue heavenly choir* I have pretty good guesses of people's personalities as well. When I read posts on boards, your personalities can sometimes seem to 'zap' me and I get mental images or feelings or something like that. Or maybe I'm just oversensitive. IP: Logged |
