What I have found, however, is that just as in my personal relationships with men, Juno, asteroid Karma and the Nodes are the connecting factors. Using myself as well as my mother, father, brother, stepmother, maternal grandparents and paternal grandmother I found that there were a multitude of these aspects. I will primarily list conjunctions, most which are between 0 and 3 degrees orb with none over 5 degrees. I was not able to include Ascendant aspects for everyone since some birthtimes are vague or unknown.

One of my questions is what is the significance of Juno within the family structure? It's generally seen as either a marital or sexual point of reference so why is it so prolific within both my family *and* intimate relationships?? I tend to see the Pallas-Karma aspects as being indicative of family patterns both because Pallas rules patterns and because there is a maternal lineage of Pallas to Karma.

See, I expected the Karma connections for some reason but since I have been stewing over the meaning of Juno for a couple years now, I thought I might see if I had somehow inherited that energy and was working it out within the context of my intimate relationships. It would seem that way.

Have either of you noticed these types of Juno conjunctions in just your intimate relationships, just your family or in both?

(Actually the birthtime of my brother K is not completely sure, and if the first one is right, his MC would also fall onto my mum`s Juno)

I guess Juno shows just commitment and is not limited to intimate relationship, I`d think. Juno was also a mother goddess after all.

She said that there is a certain binding energy about Juno and that it relates to power as well. Based on all the internet scouring I've done, the whole power thing seems to keep coming up. In terms of the mythology, Juno and Jupiter were engaged in a power struggle.

I've also heard it put this way: "Astrologically Juno describes the ways in which we face the issues of compatibility, receptivity to others, mutual sharing, trust, jealousy, possessiveness and power struggles."

So maybe the commitment is to work out some/all these issues with another based on the sign and house involved??
