Topic: Need help with daughter's rising sign

We are torn between Libra and Scorpio. If her rising is done manually, the old fashioned way the chart says she is Scorpio. But using various astrology sites, it says Libra. The tricky party is she has some of the same characteristics of...both. She used to act more like a Scorpio to me. She came out a bit temperamental to say the least and had many outbursts from infancy up to about age 5 or 6. She looked so mean! Now she is the sweetest thing and hates bad words. She is so sensitive and the slightest thing hurts her feelings, you know, like a Libra. She hates when people do bad things to others and our topic of conversation alot is treating people right or wrong and how it affects others. However, she is pretty good at making decisions. She thinks about the ramifications and how things would affect others. Definitely hates violence of any sort. (Libra!) But, she definitely LOVES getting people back for what they have done to her. (Scorpio) We're so confused1 (Libra!) Yes, I would say you can spot a Libra or rising for that matter, anywhere. You're right, she doesn't seem to have that bone structure. But she does have alot of Gemini in her chart which would possibly make her kind of cheeky!IP: Logged |

Ok then yes, even if we converted it to vedic she would still be at the first decan libra. I think she acts like a scorpio because look where her mercury and mars are at? 8th house.IP: Logged |

She reminds me of my neice who is a Scorpio sun/moon with Libra rising!It's hard to say whether her sun in the 8th opposite Pluto could influence her looks that much. Her eyes are very Scorpio, as is her face shape. I'd vote Scorp rising on this one...  8th IP: Logged |

I'm sticking to libra. The 3 planets in her eighth house ruler of scorpio is definitely giving her that look. It's undeniable...converting it to the vedic system, she still falls under the first degrees of libraIP: Logged |

I'll tell you what I AM sure of. Geminis drive me up the wall, ie insanity! So much Gemini in her chart, it drives this Virgo rising up the wall! I cant even go in her bedroom, maybe twice a year. I get heart palpitations and shortness of breath! She's the best multitasker,that's for sure. But she's the best and so fun. She balances me.
